    Why not just wait for it to come out, mate? Rather than pre-ordering it.

    With football kits it's not as if they are going to run out fast. Unless you are wanting it for going on holiday or something like that..

    Well we'd lose the £6-7 million per year from NB/Nike/whoever if Celtic fans didn't buy the official product, so at least that.

    Add in sales by Celtic retail and I'd imagine it's about £10 million, which would be roughly 15% of turnover in a good year.

    If you buy from anywhere other than Celtic I'm sure Celtic get none of that cash. New Balance give us ~£7m per season for the rights to sell the jerseys. Celtic buy the jerseys off NB and sell them. If you buy from other retailers, Celtic doesn't get any extra cash.

    Also, * buying from Sports Direct. The sooner they go under the better.

    I have a season ticket and have done for 6 years despite only getting to six, maybe seven home games a season due to the cost of travel meaning once a month is my absolute limit ( and not being able to go midweek) . I am more than happy with my contribution to the club and there are plenty of other fans that commit to Celtic financially year after year - you can't begrudge people wanting to save a few quid on a jersey . As i said , for me , it isn't " Oh i cant wait to invest another 50 bar into Celtic " , its simply " i can't wait to get the new shirt " , if i can save a few quid getting it from Sports direct than i may well do that .
