    Doesn't justify £53 for a t-shirt:smiley-laughing002:

Also why is a sponsorless top the same price as one with a sponsor ? Makes no sense

I'm in turkey the now and you can get a Bayern top, Real Madrid top and Barca top all for less than the price of one our new tops (all legit like :87:)

I agree though it's shocking how dear they are. I dunno how much other clubs charge but I guess with Celtic it's a balance between trying to please the manufacturer and get them their money's worth, and the club trying to exploit an area of profit that they desperately need.

I will be trying to get this seasons the old school way and ask for it for Christmas :smiley-laughing002:

Liverpool essentially charge the same, however they will sell about 600k, whereas on a very, very good years we will sell 200k. Big difference. Thats why they will get more.

Why would the price change? The cost of printing the sponsor is negligible.

I like the look of both of those tops. Anybody know when the third kit's design will be released?

Why complain about the price then hand your money over to someone like Mike Ashley - someone who is exploitative, money-driven and in less need of your money than our club?

My main concern with the pricing is how much of that is going to Celtic. If only a very small percentage of the money is going to Celtic, as is the case when you buy from somewhere like Sports Direct, I'd rather not buy it and invest in the club some other way. Why line the pockets of billionaires when our club needs every penny it can get? So you can wear a jersey to show your support for the club that you're depriving of much need revenue?

I get that £53 is a lot of money but if you can pay whatever they're asking Sports Direct, surely you can save that wee bit longer? I don't think you have any right to complain about the commercialisation of football if you shop in those places.

It's a no win situation for Celtic anyway. If you disagree with the extortionate amount of £53 you're not going to buy it from the club shop so you'll get it cheaper elsewhere.

It's a choice between not getting it at all with no money going to Celtic or getting it cheaper elsewhere and no money going to celtic. So why shouldn't you get the cheaper option if the other option is not getting a jersey at all?
