So you'd rather support and give profit to a third party counterfeit artist than give your money to the club?
I get really annoyed by this selfish type of action - our club is severely disadvantaged by the poorly funded league in which we are forced to play - and they NEED these types of revenue to even put a dent in the shortfall.

So quit being a cheap * and give the money where it belongs, to the club you claim to 'support'.
And if you can't afford the real thing, then at least don't enable the rip-off merchants.

Thats interesting that you think people should pay £40/50 for a shirt that cost a fraction of the price to make, not everyone is made of * money. Not everyone can afford this and paying £15 pounds in comparison makes complete sense to me.

I always buy the home strip from the club. Then can't really justify buying another two kits at £50 a go, but I like to try and get every shirt so I find somewhere else to get them.

I don't even know why I'm trying to justify myself to you. It's upto me how I support the club and spend my money.

I did get a reply from the guy but the page has since been removed.

Sorry mate but this is utter * on so many levels.

Myself and many I know would never pay the club or it's outlets 45 quid plus for an official top, the club would never get that money from me and never would have so if I decided to buy this from China the club are not losing a penny, moreover it's sending a message that their pricing and other clubs for that matter is a disgrace, particularly considering the clubs roots and traditional fan base.

You might want to blindly pay way over the top prices for in some cases substandard products but don't come on here and knock folk that won't.

When the club start selling shirts at sensible prices then and only then will I feel any obligation to purchase from them.

Out of interest, do you back your rhetoric by buyimg an overseas season ticket? Just curious?

Nobody is forcing the poor to spend their money on Celtic merchandise. The fact that you have less money, does not permit you to deal with counterfeiters (especially not for things that are not essential for living).

Besides, even in the 19th century, Celtic was run as a business. That is the reason why Celtic was by far the most sucessful club in Scotland immediately after its foundation and until the first world war. Also, if you want to spend money on good players and charity, you need money getting in.

The prices for merchandise are obvioulsy too high, but nobody is forcing anyone to buy them.

I'm talking about the people who make the jerseys not the ones who buy them

Buying form these guys is doing * all to Celtic. The tartan away in long sleeves is a ridiculous £60 which if like me you disagree with the shirt wouldn't be bought from the club anyway so you're not taking business away from the club shop by buying a cheap version.

Fair enough, I just wanted to chip in on the debate and your post was the last I seen.

As to your remark: clothing companies pay Celtic good money to manufacture the shirts (obviously they get a lot in return as well). I am not sure if it would be in Celtic's best interest to produce the shirts themselves (if at all possible) or if this would substantially decrease prices.

Then again I'm probably one of the 1st to moan when we spend * all its all about balance I guess but tbh I'm sick of the board pumping out this more then a club * when we aren't in anyway shape or form ( well what's the board wants us to be anyhow)

I hope it's just two but they seem to be keen on making three kits based on their history with Liverpool and others. I wouldn't look forward to seeing a third kit - could probably end up with some funky design

I can't think of any top European team that doesn't have 3 kits. It's just the nature of the modern game, additional revenue stream and easier to avoid kit clashes given the amount of different teams we play over a season.

Heard a few people claim to know that one of the kits will be bumblebee 2.0
