Well, they're not broken then are they?

There may be 7 mini-Hoops, but they're still Hoops. I've never personally sat in a pub staring at a bottle of Magners thinking "look at those we broken lines".....:31:

We've h:31:ini-Hoops on socks before - they never looked *, and neither does this season's (but that's just my opinion).

(excuse the smileys, accidentally pressed them can't get them off).

Not really sure what point you're trying to make to be honest.

Broken, unbroken, whatever you want to call it.. I'm just pointing out that the strange way the Hoops are on this year's Jersey looks a bit * and Id rather we had a kit like ANY of the kits we had before 2012 instead (and after 1903 before some smart * says it).

That would be immense. They'd never do it without a crest, manufacturer logo or sponsor though :54:

As a compromise, I think every future home kit should have the plainest of plain white shorts and socks with a green number front and back.

I still remember being gutted when the numbers went on the back of the shirts, never mind on the shoulders!!?! * was that about?! Haha. I've come round to the modern name and number stuff now though.

It's quite clear what I'm getting at - the Hoops on this year's shirt aren't broken, quite simple.

It's a different design (and ties in with Magners sponsorship). I like it, you don't, we have different opinions, sorted.

For the record, I like my Hoop shirts to be plain and the hoops "uniform" also, but ffs, Celtic fans remind me of "Goldilocks" at times "oh those hoops are too wee, those hoops are too many, oh those are just right".

I end up liking most Celtic strips anyway, hated the one we have just now at the start, love it now.

    I'm usually the same.

However I still think our current one is a disaster and have not got to like it at all.

There's only 2 I really don't like : one being the obvious red/white/blue People's one, and the other is this weird yin from (I think) the 77 season?

    I know they're not broken ffs :smiley-laughing002:

Is it really too much to ask for a simple Hooped home Jersey with about 5 thick green hoops with no white running through them or outline around them? I've never complained about our current home top.. but when the time comes when we're about to release a new kit, it's going to be discussed and I think most fans would like to see a 'normal' home top.

I liked the lime green away kit from a couple of years ago. Wouldn't mind something like that as the away kit.

As long as it's nice looking and it can come in the size to fit me :icon_mrgreen: then i will be happy.

Cannie get these * smilies off
    :38::38::56::54:

You said they were broken, not me.

Who says YOUR idea of a "normal" kit design is actually NORMAL? You said any kit before 2012 was ok, but I'm sure if years back the Lisbon Lions had a look forward into the future at.....say....the 98' strip, they'd think it was a bastardized monstrocity.

The only real difference between the jerseys from 67 and 98 are the sponsors and the material. They've both got normal green hoops on them like every other top until 2012, barring maybe the one in 2002 that had 'broken' hoops. That top was still nicer than the last 2.

If you want to be picky, shirts over the years have all had: different shades of green hoops, different number of green hoops, different thickness of Hoops.

Again like, there's NO guidelines that says a Celtic home kit should be a particular shade of green, have an exact amount of green/white hoops of equal proportion and thickness. So, what is a "normal" kit then?
