Utter dung again. Absolutely no desire to win the ball back after losing it before their goal. Admittedly Johansen put him under pressure with the * pass, but after losing it he has to bust a gut trying to win it back. Instead he jogs 3 or 4 steps while the Caley player takes off, then he stops.

Not good enough.

Needs dropped, was shockingly bad today.

 

Doesn't have the minerals to make it at a big club like this .

 

Maybe Ronny should hire a marriage counselor.

 

Hope he is better in court than on a pitch or some poor * is going to jail.

 

He's been awful for weeks. The fact he's still getting a game shows just how weak our squad is for the wide positions.

I don't think he'll ever make it here. He doesn't show enough desire on top of not being a good footballer.

 

Too brainy

 

Armstrong and GMS have been off since the start of the season both could be good players for us but Armstrong isn't playing in his best position.

 

Can someone tell me what they think he brings to our side? Even at the start when everyone was raving about him I didn't see what the hype was about. Would like to know what people make of him?

Only thing I think he's shown consistently is a good delivery from corners.

From the Ajax game, I can remember him setting Griffiths up with a good chance in the box. It was the chance where he hit a weak shot and Forrest was behind him screaming for the ball.

 

Doesn't give the impression that he even gives a * at how * he is just now.

 

Probably because he is content as *. What a life he has. He could pick up a job no bother after his footie career, in fact will probably still go on to earn a decent wage when his playing days are up, so he has hee-haw to worry about. In the meantime he gets to play for Celtic and be remunerated pretty healthily into the bargain.

Perhaps the opposite end of the spectrum from Tierney for example who plays with heart and desire every time I've seen him as footie is all he probably knows.

 

Was utterly anonymous today.

Agree with ye there Paul, needs dropped for a bit.

 

Still hope he will come good but no doubt he is playing really poorly at the moment.

 

I'd like to see him play in a more central role, but yeah, he absolutely needs dropped just now.

 

Some of the criticism is a little harsh, it's not happening for him at the moment and he should be dropped until he gets his act together.

Shouldn't be anywhere near the LW again.

He can join; Rogic, Johansen, Allan, Commons, McGregor & Christie when he comes, all who are vying, and are arguably more suited to the CAM role.

He needs improve drastically in a lot if aspects of the game to be challenging Brown, Bitton or even Johansen for one of the DM berths.

There is a player there no doubt. He needs to want it more or his Celtic career may fizzle out.
