He's quick, he works hard, his positioning is excellent, his link up around the box is good and he can score goals from midfield.

He'll be a crucial player for us this coming season.

He didn't seem to and hasn't seemed to handle playing on the wing but when ciftci came on his link up was very good and it gave him the option to cut inside more and play where he normally plays

He played quite well last night. I think Çiftçi was the missing link. The link-up play between Armstrong, Çiftçi and Mackay-Steven looked pretty sexy.

You can't expect him to play like a natural winger. He's an inside forward, really.

Aye he's out of position and obviously that isn't his fault but I think I'd rather see a proper winger in his place.

I actually think we'd play nicer football with Armstrong in instead of Johansen, but Johansen can't be dropped.

Wouldn't write him off just yet.

But he won't be a starter this season. Will make a tidy player to have around and perhaps flourish after some leave next season.

Yea I get what you mean he dipped a bit in april and may.

Then I watched all his goals against us and realised that hes got a lot to offer if on form and in the right areas

He comes across well, in the interviews and i think he will be a long term player for Celtic, and eventually Captain.

He makes Defence splitting, well measured forward passes in key areas in the final third.
He isnt a wide player and im not convinced he is the most physical but i think long term, he may play as central attacking mid.

I think at the moment, given our numbers in midfield, we are trying to accomodate him by playing him on the left.

Excellent player who makes things happen for us from midfield and can also play out wide. I expect to see Armstrong captain one day for us.

Smart guy, but too smart to go all in for football?

    Solicitor or midfielder?

    Hmmm....

A smart person would say midfielder for Celtic first, even if he could be a solicitor.

And then, perhaps, a solicitor later.

    But probably not.

A midfielder for Celtic first, and an investor later.

And if you need a solicitor, you can always hire one.
