But will Forrest ever get back to his best? It's been years since he was properly match fit for any extended period, I just don't see him ever staying fit and injury free for long enough to fulfil his potential.

Hopefully I'm wrong about that, because I remember how excited I was to see how good Forrest could become before all the injuries :54: .

As for Armstrong, he was really poor against St Mirren. Just didn't manage to make any impact on the game. He's still settling in though, and he's shown at times how good a player he can be for us. I wouldn't worry about one bad game.

Armstrong is class, so is GMS however Forrest is the best of them, when on form he has skills they both dont have his close control is better than anyone in the team.

I firmly believe that Forrest is played out of position but he doesnt know it or Deila, give him a chance in the CAM role and he will shine he played amazing there against juve and the control he has and the directness of him is perfect for that role.

There is absolutely no way that Forrest is better than Armstrong or GMS. Disregarding last nights team, which had Stokes up front on his own, Armstrong and GMS are both above Forrest in Ronny's pecking order.

Ronny described Forrest as a special player, he was Lennons favourite and WGS loves him too, picking him ahead of the other two mentioned. A lot of Celtic fans like yourself as i've picked up on from your posts are clueless to the true quality of a player. When you know football then you can see what players have it in them, Forrest has it all he might, he is Motm a lot of the time and is the first scapegoat people go to because of the amount of time he has been injured.

I maybe dont understand the troubles in these peoples lives but to take their anger out on a scapegoat like Forrest is unfair,on form he is the best player in this team and im glad our recent managers have realised this.

Forrest on top form is brilliant but he has no consistency, GMS and Armstrong have had more consistency than Forrest since they've joined than Forrest has had in years.

Forrest is a decent player but he's predictable. Cuts inside whenever he gets the ball. His delivery really isn't anything special either for a winger and he offers nothing defensively.

The only time we have ever seen Forrest play CAM is the game against juventus which was our best European performance that year, in a year we beat barcelona. Forrest was integral to some lovely stuff we played that night. Also im not saying he is more skill full than GMS but his ability to pick a pass is extremely underrated, and his close control is streets ahead of GMS.

I'm not sure what relevance it has here - unless he's suggesting Forrest is the best player in the side, in which case... * me... :56:

That is the most ridiculous post I think I have ever seen on this forum, and that is saying something. I played football to a reasonable level until I was 18 and still play * football as well as watching pretty much every Celtic game since I was about 10. I can separate the Pele's from the Pukki's.

Ronny does not pick Forrest above Armstrong or GMS. That is not opinion, that is a fact. It's simple. Forrest said in his post match interview last night that he has been 'fine since November', so he's been available.

Why is it then that so many people single him out, and not everyone else? He is League 1 standard and a waste of a wage that could be given to a much better player.

Ronny picked Forrest above GMS last night? And left Forrest on instead of Armstrong?

Ronny played Stokes upfront on his own and played Johansen in a deeper role.

The thing is you fall into the same category as Og1 and such as completely clueless so nothing you ever say will be respected.
