Reminds me of Phil O'Donnell with his engine, think he has great ability too. Looking forward to someone at last running through the centre with the ball.

For me, will prove very quickly he's better than anything we have in midfield.

Brilliant that we've signed a player who is genuinely intelligent :56: He fits in well here, expecting big things.

No 14 Means Paul Lambert to me the complete midfielder.

High hopes he can match that king of level.

Also was anyone 14 before? Checked wikipedia last night to see what decent numbers are left and could only see 16 and 13 (not sure if you'd take 13)

They both seem sort of sad to leave Utd, more so than being excited to join us.

Maybe more so Armstrong than GMS. He's pretty keen, haha.

I'm not saying he doesn't want to be here but * me, he could look a bit more interested and excited.:smiley-laughing002:

He seems one of those posh/snobby/dull characters. I had never heard him talking before and seen him on SSN last night and thought he sounded English :smiley-laughing002:

Just the way he speaks he'll probably always come across that uninterested, wether he's just captained us to the Treble or scored an OG to get us knocked out the CL qualifiers.

He seems very calm and composed , very clear and concise and hopefully he's the same for us on the pitch.

I'm sure they both are sad to leave- they loved it there, made their name there, they owe Dundee United a lot and I'm sure they even feel a bit guilty about leaving because the big boys with the big money came in. But that's football, they'll be over it in no time when they play a few big games for us.
