    It's insane that six or seven of the ten clubs have a realistic chance of qualifying for the Champions League at the halfway stage.

    Is Sturm Graz normally just refered to as Sturm (in the same way that Bayern München's normally just referred to as Bayern)?

    There are two tickets for champions league that season. Salzburg is responsible for that - they played in the euro league quite good the last years.
    Salzburg is still dominant in austria, but there's a chance that this will change, if the "partner-club" rb leipzig ist advancing to the German Bundesliga: the good red bull players will move to leipzig, salzburg is going to become a "training club" for leipzig players.

    They've contributed the most but the difference between Austria and Scotland is that the former have a few teams that have also made a decent contribution - there's only been one season where Celtic have contributed more to Scotland's coefficient than a team other than Red Bull have done for Austria's coefficient.

    Of corse, Austria Wien played Champions League and Rapid Wien in the EL. You're right.
    That Celtic is - at the moment - the only club in scotland, which is contributing to the coefficient is a huge problem I think; they've to start at the 2nd qualifiying round in the Champions League - a disadvantage, compared with Austria for example.

    Yes! The skipper hasn't left the club. Alan is gone, Kampl is gone, and Mane of corse. But Soriano has extended his contract till 2019. Thursday they play against Villareal in the EL.

    Alan went to China. Rangnick (sports director) said, Alan earns there so much, that he, his family and his "village" don't have to work any more. Transfer fee about 15 Mio. €.

    Soriano is loyal yes. But Red Bull has some money. And Leipzig won't play in the German Bundesliga next year...

    I will be in Munich in early April and as no fixtures local to me on one particular day am considering a trip to Wacker Innsbruck, do you think the city and stadium are worth a 2 hour 60 euro train ticket from Munich?

    That's a good question. You have to know, that Wacker is playing in the 2nd Austrian league and they are totally out of shape at the moment. So attendance will be 2000 I think.
    But: Wacker is still one of the biggest names in Austria. They have tradition and won 10 titles in the A. Bundesliga.
    Early April they are playing against LASK from Linz (3. April, 18:30) - LASK is the leader at the moment, so that game could be interesting.

    So you have to decide - but if you're in Munich, I'll prefer a game of 1860!

    I can at least confirm, that Innsbruck (the city) is a true beauty - I was there last summer. Sourrounded by mountains. Like in "Sound of Music" :icon_mrgreen:

    So it seems you are visiting Innsbruck?

    Will do pal, it's actually quite a fast train from Munich so not to brutal a journey, All in all I think being in Munich the weekend 1860 are at home has it's benefits as it doesn't mean I have to join the scrum for Bayern Tickets which van be very expensive on the secondary market, whereas at 1860 I can just walk up and pay on the day, it's the same stadium after all and. I won't have to witness the sight of Robben diving every 5 minutes :smiley-laughing002:
