That will never be beaten! That was genuinely more of an insult than signing nobody.

 

Feelers coming out of Dundee United is that Gary Mackay-Steven is more likely to sign for Celtic tonight than Stuart Armstrong.

GMS of course has already agreed a pre-contract and was due to arrive in the summer but he could hotfoot it to Glasgow before then. That could all change though (thought we’d add that wee disclaimer).

if we are offering 1.9 we are jokers. Its 2 they want ffs , this is what causes the big rush at midnight and pete saying " we tried but we ran out of time " . Bid the 2 now .

 

In all honesty I think we probably need GMS more than Armstrong at this moment in time, although I think Armstrong is the better player. We are pretty well covered in central midfield but we are crying out for some pacey wide options. Take both in a heart beat though!
