I know. We're 2nd from top in Pot 4 currently behind Roma.

In order for us to be Pot 3 we need two of these three results to go our way:

    -Basel knocked out
    -Monaco go through
    -Rapid Wien go through

    Long shot but still possible.

    Monaco could beat most teams
Basel would need to have an absolute shocker
Rapid Wien would have to have a blinder against a team blundering

i would take the albanians first and like to avoid partizan tbh!

next i would astana but * me the travelling.

tel aviv would then be slightly better than malmo. ''if'' we're on our game though i would expect us to beat either.

Aye, Skenderbeu have got to be the easiest draw here. Then Astana.

I'd prefer to avoid Partizan and then Maccabi due to the heat over there.

Malmo shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I really think this tie we've just navigated through will be the hardest of the three qualifying rounds.

think they would have been next country with 2 teams after Greece to get an auto spot.

i think Basel probably keep it high pretty much on their own just like we try and do it here but Swiss teams must do better than the sheep, St.Johnstone,etc.

their country coeff is twice ours ffs.

If I were a fan of of an unseeded club Id want APOEL or Zagreb before us.

But chances are they all just want to avoid Basle.

Don't think any of them are good enough to break us down. Whether we have enough going forward is a different matter.

Cheers lads. I have been watching Slenderbeu's first leg highlights against Crusaders. I couldn't believe the miss I seen at a minute in. :smiley-laughing002:

The Albanian team aren't that comfortable at dealing with crosses if these two games are anything to go by.

I'd love Celtic vs Astana, would be funny as *. That 2013 Shakhter side was actually the weakest Shakhter Karagandy side if 2011, 2012 (two title winning years) and 2013 are compared, so I confidently reckon that Astana is much stronger than Shakhter 2013, especially in attack. The thing is that Shakhter never really had money, we were forced to collect cheap and free players from the market. Two title winning years improved the financial situation at the club, but recently it has nearly fallen to pieces, we barely made it not to become bankrupt. On the other hand, the likes of Astana possess a great deal of money due to them being the team from the capital, money are pouring in from the goverment. Kairat is still the strongest team in Kazakhstan though.

Just read the playoff winners get €2mil and whatever else of course.

    Playoff losers get €3mil.

Just goes to show how important tonight's match actually was.
