Following on from the recent threads that have been created discussing clothes and also facial hair, I thought that a more inclusive thread discussing all of the aspects that face a discerning gentleman in this day & age would be a good idea.

Now, I'm not saying that I or anyone else here can or should consider themselves to be such a specimen as to deserve a tag so lofty, but we can all aspire to higher levels when it comes to aspects of our lives such as substance, elegance, style and class. With a little help, we could all create a better first impression on those we meet.

This thread could be a place to discuss and share information on things like fashion, grooming, holiday destinations, dining out and so on.

What kind of aftershave do you use? Clothing brands that you would recommend? male grooming products?

The list is endless. I'm sure Wrigley has some solid advice when it comes to creating a capsule wardrobe.

Don't give us that, you and your £150 per hour pay rate. I bet you've got some decent threads lurking in that walk-in closet of yours!

I must say i like the thread title :icon_mrgreen:

Usually i buy most of my clothing from Sainsburys (Tu) excellent stuff at really good prices, especially when they do a 25% off sale.

I buy me leather jackets from TK Maxx in the city centre, also have a few shirts form there.

I'm allergic to aftershave so canny wear it lol.

I only make myself look my best when i have to, be it work, date, night out etc...

Any other time i look like a combination of a student and a ned with trackies, odd colour combinations, generally anything i find first in my room. I won't change it either, when you have to wear a suit 5 days a week i like being able to just look like a hobo for the other two.

Just bought some Chanel allure sport. Makes me * myself.

Dior sport is also very nice.

Got some "bulldog" moisturiser and face wash, good stuff and is not filled with chemicals

Most likely a dark grey jumper and black skinny jeans (not the mental skinny ones).

But as the others have said, it is a bit camp and *. Just needed a smart looking jacket for work.

Also wear CK One aftershave and Paco Rabanne 1 million.

Clothing i do keep to brands, mostly RL, Top-Man, CK etc... I never buy at full price though always the sales.

Facially i don't really like to shave but i can't look ragged for work so shave once a week, although i think i look best with a wee bit of stubble otherwise i look 18/19 when im actually 23!

Just bought it the other day after seeing it rated number 2 on mens health male moisturiser list and all the other ones were like £30 :smiley-laughing002:

    Great stuff.
Got to reel them in some how. :smiley-laughing002:

    A few sites that may come in handy to some people;

Tods. If you're looking for shoes, bags, wallets or any other leather accessories then this is the place to go. I just ordered a belt from them the other week. Excellent quality.

Canali. Italian design and production, timeless versatile colours, and both casual and formal wear. They have a store in London if you're local to that area, otherwise the website is the way to go.

I've only used them once, and it was a few months back (bought a jacket), but i have heard good things about them, and will use again.
