Not slating the guy,but i would rather have his 20+ per season he offers as a striker.

If him and griff had been used where they should i doubt we would struggle for goals like we have been.

 

Can we not just bring him in now please?

Our lack of movement this window has been disgusting. We're going to get absolutely pumped off Inter.

 

It's embarrassing mate. We played at the weekend, and didn't have a natural winger in our team, and we play a formation that requires wingers, but we aren't prepared to pay 250k.

 

I'm not sure about this signing. At Utd when he played well, he was brilliant but he was no where near consistent enough. I'm not convinced he is good enough to play for Celtic.

Why name a price then. They have stated 250k. Do you think they would have knocked 250k back if we had offered it on the day he signed the PCA with us?

 

Good shout, if we're gonna buy him (which I think we will), then it will be on deadline day..

 

Is it possible his inconsistency was in line with Dundee Utd being inconsistent as a team at the time?

 

Which even the English clubs weren't willing to pay, we can be tight as a club I know that but if we can get him cheaper at the end of the window then no one will be complaining..

Also I think there's holding off to see who's being shipped as there's the confusion with commons, for example..

No we don't, we play a formation with effectively 3 attacking midfielders behind a number 9 with the width coming from full-back. Do you know what a winger is?

 

Don't try and patronise me. Oh, and by the way, the first thing Deila said when he come in, was that we needed wingers. So are you saying Deila doesn't know what he needs to play his desired formation now as well?

 

Depends how your looking at it, I thought getting him tied down first was a half clever move, gives us the upper hand then in negotiating with the club.

I agree we do need more pace on the wings and trickery in games like Saturday but I admit I don't rate mackay Steven as highly as others, just yet..

If we don't agree a deal I won't be overly *, although I don't think 250k is much we should get him for something under that..

I think Wakaso is better than this guy, but we can't do anything now. The deal is done.

 

Wakaso would cost a heap more. Also don't think he's shown anything much to suggest he'd be worth the extra money (realise the guy has had huge tragedy in his life so maybe that's the reason he's not shone with us)

 

Not seen anything from Wakaso to suggest he's better than GMS

 

I just reckon let him go and play against Aberdeen in the cup and then see what happens on the last day of the window
