To have any chance of progressing we need to win and home and keep a clean sheet.

    No we won't beat Inter.
The team we have at present is NOT good enough.
    PL take a bow.

when we drew Inter i didnt know when they signed Podolski and Shaquiri i thought no chance but they arent playing well at this time so we might have a chance if we can get the team to concentrate at the back and take the chances up front.

On paper, Inter are well ahead of us and most teams left in the Europa League. The choice of Icardi, Santon, Shaqiri/Podolski, Palacio. Guarin, Medel etc. would make most teams worried, but they have been generally poor this season.

These games could come at the right time and we could scrape a good result. Maybe wishful thinking on my part but if we continue to do pretty well and they continue to underperform, we have a chance. Stranger things have happened

Agreed on paper they should beat us but they have been very inconsistent this season. They just lost 3-1 to Sassuolo this weekend in the league. So they are beatable if we are at our best.

Maybe a daft question but is their a limit to how many new signings can be registered for this game?

Inter are in crisis mode, 13 points off of Napoli in 3rd.

They will either abandon the EL are through their all at 3rd or try to win EL to reach the CL. Depends on which they think is more likely.

I think they can only register 1 player who has played in this seasons CL, so Podolski or Shaqiri.

As you all well know, things are going... well, pretty catastrophically right about now.

I'll write a bigger write-up after the Napoli game, seeing as then both you and me know which players out of the ones we've bought in the transfer window we registrered and so forth.

Concerning the question, yeah, there''s absolutely no way you shouldn't be favorites tp proceed if we continue playing like this. But then again, I'd be very surprised to see us keeping this form up or getting worse, and that's coming from a guy who saw his team go from conquering Italy, Europe and the World in 2009 and 10, to sitting in 13 place alongside and losing to giants such as Torino, Sassuolo and Cagliari on a regular basis.

On Sunday against thee very limited Sevco team , I think we demonstrated how to play in Europe . When necessary our centre midfielders moved back to help out the defence and were also able to back up the attack.
Of course Sevco were very poor but Sunday was the blue-print .

We could beat them , no doubt about it , they are nothing special and in a complete mess atm . Get the result at home and we should be ok .

I think we'll get a result. Inter are playing * and even the players and fans are clashing with each other.

We are on the ascendency as well. Very excited about this one now.

I think we've got enough pace in the team to go and match them up. Whoever wins is anybodies guess, but with the first tie at home that maybe gives us an advantage to put a decent score on the board and the pressure will maybe intensify on Inter when they go back home.

A 1-0 or a 2-0 would be a fantastic result. But it's all about handling the pressure and reversing it.
