    Well Stokes is a striker so are we playing two up top just now then?

    It's in the rulebook that over-hit crosses and over-hit passes go down as shots? That's actually in the rulebook?

    What is your problem? You know very well he plays on the left hand side.

    Over hit crosses count as shots.

    You said we played two up front against Barca. Granted Miku didn't actually play up front but he's still a striker so it's counts as two up front.

    I'm just pointing out that although Stokes isn't playing up front he's still a striker so are we playing two up front just now?

    We struggled to create chances earlier in the season, and the players were struggling with the system. For me, that isn't a problem now, our biggest problem is finishing teams off. Sunday was just another example of that, when we created more than enough to win the game with ease.

    Commons himself may get more goals throughout a season (though not necessarily) but we shouldn't be relying on one player to score the majority of our goals when that player is an aging midfielder. Playing Stokes, Johanson and Forrest brings goals from more positions and if one isn't scoring the other should be. The only argument is to perhaps have Commons playing instead of Johanson in the same role but Johanson's energy allows him to cover areas of the park that Commons can't and is better defensively and at closing down from the front

    So the number of shots should equal the number of goal kicks?

    It's hard to believe because it's a load of * :56::56::56::56:

    If that was the case there'd be about 40 shots a game from both teams. Even Celtic would have had about 30 shots against them in most games.

    A shot in soccer is a ball that is kicked or headed towards the goal. The NCAA defines a shot in Section 3 of its Official Soccer Statistics Rules as an attempt taken with the intent of scoring that is directed toward the goal. This excludes crosses, or long kicks typically taken from the side of the field near the goal line that feed the ball into the penalty area in front of the goalkeeper. A goalkeeper who grabs a cross does not receive credit for a save. An exception to this would be a cross that the goalie stops that would have otherwise entered the goal.
