    Im guessing we don't focus on any particular market (apart from the Naka era which was for shirt sales) and have scouts all over the place - certainly in Europe.

    We need to focus on getting quality in.

    that legia team didnt cost much at all i think.just shows with a good scouting network and good team spirit you dont need a lot of money.

    that maribor team as well probably cost next to fuckall and still made a good account of themselves in the champions league gettin draws against chelsea,shalke and sporting.

    Snapped him up from Italy. But point taken, we've been cold over asia way since ki.
    I'd like to see us tap the scandanavia market.
    Also would love to see the Scottish government do something that would allow sports teams to dip more in to the south American market. Look at what Russia, Portugal and Spain snap up, few of them would certainly jump to celtic before being the big stars, in hope of being seen quicker by England

    Agree with this I think they are a bit stronger on the ball more physical than the other asian nations and are suited to the SPL. The only drawback is the visa problems though.

    Wasn't sure if it would have been something we could pull off at Scottish level.

    Obv they don't want to open the doors up, but surely a rule that a sports player can sign a 5 year contract, but by the 3rd year they must be starting a certain % of games, or else their working visa runs out and must move back after the five years? Or something.

    Really surprised the UK haven't worked something.
