On a par yet you finish behind us when you picked up 3 points when we're already through?

Celtic are vastly superior to Zagreb and that's without our best striker.

This seems to be a common theme this season ... No stability whatsoever just now :smiley-laughing002:

It was funny at the time but then they went and score two goals while we were singing it.

    Maybe it's their lucky tune?

Pretty much what I expected with the lineup we started with and players we sent. Atleast the kids got some experience.

Great from the away fans again, pure class.

The Last Christmas sing along was classic, even though they scored 2 while we sang it.

We had 6 first team players missing last night as well, that should not be forgotten. Lustig, Denayer, Brown, Forrest, Stokes & Guidetti.

If Dinamo Zagreb were a better squad with better players they would have been going into their last game already qualified.

As it was we had already qualified so it was a nothing game for Celtic in terms of competitiveness - we had nothing to aim for but money and coefficient points, 2 things players don't get particularly enthused about.

were not that weak in the centre defence area 2 out of vvd, ambrose, denayer, should make us solid enough but no team defends only as a back 4

the 2 fullbacks are weak defensively and if that wasnt enough we dont have midfielders defending the way they should

if we want to play 4 2 3 1 and leave the 4 up field so that we can break on the counter at all times then we need 2 good defensive full backs

if we persist with with the fullbacks we have just now then we have to get the stokes magreggor wakaso forrests to defend and track runners and stop allowing teams to just outnumber us at the back

if the opposing team is trying to go through the middle of us we need to get the attacking central midfielder back to make it a tight 3 centrally and they then backup the central defenders

this isn't rocket science i dont really know why the players are having such difficulty with the formation

now last night we had adam mathews who was at fault for the first 2 goals, he was * brutal

another thing that is alarming me is why we dont seem to be able to match other european teams in terms of pace of play

any european team get the ball and they play the ball between themselves with pace and movement
we get the ball we turn back all the time and play it around the defenders or midfielders we dont try and get by players or try and catch the other team short at the back
we always try and play against a european team when they have everyone behind the ball this is the most difficult way to break a team down and score goals

i guess this is another problem this team and the club have had, it seems to have been hammered into them since the gordon strachan days that possession of the ball is the mainstay of any celtic team and ronnie and collins are trying to change this but it is hard trying to get the players to break this habit

all in all we are a work in progress and still need ronnies players for his formation to really work

we are not defending as a team some players are not putting the shift in is this what ronnie wants if it is then the attacking players have to scare the opposition in to being honest and not throw loads of players forward and outnumber us

finally last night we had a number of players out and a number of players who havent been getting games so that has to be taken proper notice of by our fans on here

its embarrasing the way they just keep screaming and crying acting like spoilt brats so they are we are a team and big team in a small pond of 5 m people that in football terms means we are the brondby of scotland

    get some perspective ffs
