Dinamo Zagreb v Celtic 6pm KO(Thursday 11th December- BT Sports 1)

Think we'd have smashed them tonight if we had a full strength team.

Thought Pjaca and Brozovic looked absolute class.
We badly need to invest in a couple of players that can attack and create.

 

We need a CB. Desperately. Some people argue that Lustig is gonna come back someday but sadly he is made of glass, we cant really count on him being availabe. Denayer is on loan and if VVD really leaves this will make Ambrose our BEST CB. A winger that can cross so we are insured against Izaguirre is also a must. If there is still money left, somebody for Izaguirre's place so we can ditch him out forever would be good. That's not too bad, with Guidetti, Brown and Forrester returning we are only two players away from being a decent team.

Also, Fisher deserves more chances.

 

Almost had a draw there but that would probably be very harsh on Zagreb,thought they totally deserved to win this one.

Anyways, we are very lucky to get through this group.We need to make some proper signings in January or else i can see us getting hammered in the next round.This current team is just not good enough to compete in Europe,in all honesty.

 

I don't know why but i kind of enjoyed that game entertainment wise that is, as a supporter well that's a different kettle of fish let's just hope that Ronnie has had a look at that defence and gets it sorted because that showing tonight from them was pure diabolical to be kind about it.

A full strength Celtic team would thrash them, we had 6 1st team players out and apart from Scepovic none of them stepped up to the mark.

 

Found it strange that you say you've watched him for years yet thought because Guidetti is available in the next round that Stokes won't get a game despite playing beside Guidetti for months.

 

Nah I've said what I wanted to change, thoughts? Keep it like this or see where I'm coming from?

So that was Dinamo Zagreb's 2nd win from their last 26 group stage games in Europe, not only that but we shipped 4 goals to them.

 

How many Celtic fans traveled?

 

Pretty predictable that we would lose that game. There was nothing at stake so it was essentially a friendly. We are absolute garbage in friendlies so I fully expected us to lose here. No big deal.

It was good to see Scepovic get a couple of goals, that'll do his confidence no harm at all.

Hopefully get Johansen back playing where he has been on Sunday. Offers so much more than Commons in my opinion. I think we get overrun when Commons is in the team.

Anywho Stokes has been one of our best players this season so I don't expect him to be out of the team anytime soon.
