    Stokes obviously, or Johansen
Denayer who's still very raw, Van Dijk who probably doesn't want to be here and losing arguably one of the best goalkeepers in my opinion is hardly a great improvement. Also Lustig's missed a few games too.

While we've still be trying to sort out who should sit in front of our back four and we're developing a new pressing game.

It's amazing that people think things should happen over night, I don't think we'll start to see the full effects of Ronny's philosophy until this time next year..... because I know it takes quite a while for a new manager to sort things out at club. Case and point Klopp at Dortmund, it took him a while but eventually he got in his players and his philosophy across and they were completely transformed. Or even Ronny at his last club.

The point is you you aren't consistant with your comments.
You think you can change what you said

We still got pumped out of Europe before Christmas and whatever you say, we were dire in the group stage last season.

It's swings and roundabouts though. You say we were better under Lennon, as I said we got put out of the two cups in the third and fourth round. Morton even beat us. Lennon had his fair share of shockers.

Now now, Deneyar is miles better than Ambrose, so yeah, our back four on paper is better than last years, not quite sure where you was going with that.

And I did respond to your point about 5 times, I'm
    not gonna repeat myself.

So a youth player from Man City suddenly makes our defence better, and I'm sorry I must have missed your response to our skelpings under Lennon

We were not shocking. We should have beat Milan at the San siro, we were by far the better team. Barca we shouldn't have gone down to 10 men, and even when we did, Mulgrew missed an open goal.

Yes we had some shockers but we were a better team last year.

The man has played for Belgium, he's a much better player than Ambrose.

Are you saying you would have have Ambrose than deneyar? If not then surely jason is a step up?

I just think you dislike anyone on this forum who says negative things about Ronny. It's fine though

We were the nearly team again. Got put out without much of a fight really. And that was after scraping through to the group stage against two diddy teams in Elfsborg and Karagandy.

Forgot to say as well, getting pumped 6-1 by Barcelona is proof we were going backwards as the year before we were a minute away from drawing with them in the Camp Nou.

We were in a group of death. We never stood a chance.

The media in Scotland annoyed me in the build up to that game against Milan. "Milan aren't the team they used to be, Celtic should be looking to beat them."

Hold on a minute, AC Milan spent 64 million euros on two or three strikers that summer if I recall correctly. How the * are we meant to compete with that. We can't compete any more while we are in this * league, simple as that. Our budget goes down every year, it is only getting worse.

He's taller than I first thought.

Guy loves shopping in Morrisons, keep seeing him in the local one buying his shopping. Had a look at his basket contents to make sure he was abiding by his no junk food philosophy.

Apparently Celtic rent out his house down in Erskine on a month by month basis and tried to get away with not paying it last month, so my taxi driver tells me.

Not much thought on his managerial career, but a bit of background info on Ronnie. He likes edam cheese too.

We just about got past Shaktar for * sake :56:

Lennon had 3 and a half years with the squad before that game, Ronny barely had more than 3 and a half weeks before we got knocked out to Legia initially......

Currently, in December 2014 I believe we've improved since December 2013. Forget about losing to Legia or Maribor when his foot was barely in the door, since then we've definitely been a lot better than last season and definitely have more potential than what we were last season... which was a stagnating side filled with utter dross. Guidetti, Johansen, Denayer, Wakaso are improvements on Pukki, Balde, Ambrose and the likes playing in serious games. For most of last season we didn't have a proper striker and had to play Stokes up front and a disinterested Samaras. We were utterly shambolic at the back too last year and our players had no philosophy and no ideas it just looked like we were trying to survive.

This year there's been a direction, very quickly Ronny has brought in guys like Guidetti, Wakaso, Berget, Tonev in an attempt to get us playing a quicker, higher tempo, more passing orientated style of football. Some have worked so far some haven't. He's got Johansen playing excellently, he's got Stokes and Guidetti linking up decently too and I'm sure if he can get Wakaso and Forrest playing well it'll really add to what he wants to achieve. Not only that but we're through to the Europa last 32. We couldn't even finish ahead of Ajax last year and get 3rd at least, and that Ajax side was filled with nothing players in my opinion.

If you seriously cannot see that we're better than this time last year then I can't help that. Some have clearly just made their mind up on Ronny and it'd probably take winning the * thing to change that. Honestly he's persuading good player to come here, even just on loan and with Denayer and Gudietti he's already proven he can spot talents. I've faith in Wakaso also, and I think Tonev can be useful. Scep and Berget not so much, but I'll not write off Scep just yet. The players on a whole look fitter, more committed and are at least trying to use the ball more intelligently than they've done in previous years.

    Mon the Ronny!

I don't mind Ronny at all. At one point I wanted him out but he has changed my mind slightly. I'm not a huge fan though.

And we are not better than last year. Last year we lost 1 league game.

Aside from some shaky league play at the beginning of the year, the only thing Ronny can really be criticized for is getting knocked out of Champions League. But considering these were his very first games at the helm and he had no time and no money to work with, I think people would be able to wrap their heads around the fact that he's done a pretty good job this far.

His time at Godset didn't come to fruition until his 2nd and 3rd seasons either, because *gasp* these things take time. I've got full faith in Ronny.

There you go again with your thinking,
Wrongly again I might add. But you will probably not have said ^^^^^^
soon, or you didn't mean it.

I think we are still in a transitional stage and people should give him
Support and time and get behind him, * the short term moany whinging,

You're just so easy to wind up. If there's someone on this forum slating Ronny you're the one man who I would put my house on being in the thread dishing out abuse for "being negative"

You need to calm doon you angry wee man :56:
