Im hardly one to judge, married and living in England means i get to very few games but I hardly miss any on TV/Internet, however I can watch it.

What's really disappointing this year and last year to an extent is the dwindling crowds at Parkhead. As supporters we claim to be faithful through and through, the best supporters in the world.

So what's happened? Under O'Neill, Strachan slighly less so under Lennon, Parkhead weas pretty much always full and in O'Neills days almost impossible for me to get tickets for any game.

Im now seeing half empty stadiums for European games?

I know we are all having rough times economically but im sure it wasnt easy 4/5 years ago either? So whats changed? Why are the supporters staying away?

Is it the football, the lack of ambition, the manager, the board, the cost, the lack of real competition?

It does us a club no favours, less income means less expenditure on staff! As a club our supporters, our stadium and our almost guaranteed european nights are our only attraction for getting half decent players.

The way things are I see no great immediate future for our club?

I honestly can;t understand the half empty stadiums for the EL games, reasonably priced and the apparent competition that people were crying out for.

I was stunned that we couldn't sell out such an important game as the Salzburg home tie.

Too many take their lead from England these days it seems. EPL says the EL is * so therefore it's *.

As for last night, it's that time of year, happens every year nowadays, throw in it was a rearanged fixture, midweek and Christmas coming up I don't think its anything to worry about.

We still have about 40k ST holders, one of the highest in the UK. Not bad for a club playing in this so called * uncompetitve league.

For me i haven't bought a euro ticket this season after the Maribor fiasco. I cancelled htcs, it wasn't the fact we got beat it was the fact the board never invested. Why should i when we get taken for mugs. It was glaringly obv that we needed more.

It's more noticeable in the Europa League because they shut the top tier.

Why do they do that,is it so they don't have to open the catering or something?

Looks absolutely terrible, especially with those stupid big banners the club leave out to hide the seats.

This is my thoughts exactly. I said straight after the Maribor defeat that I wouldn't be taking up the option of the package. It's not even that I have no interest in the EL, because I have bought the package in the past, but I just refused to this time round. I was so disgusted in the board, especially after getting a second bite at the cherry.

There wouldn't be much point opening it. Cost will be one thing, and there is a better chance of getting a better atmosphere if everyone is in the bottom tier.

I think if the board did show some ambition then the fans would return that by attending more.

I go as often as i can from sheepshagger land. But when every single fan can see what we need and we don't go and get it or at least really try its demoralising.

I think it was because of the shambolic qualification campaign that people won't buy tickets and not because they see the europa league as being beneath them. I don't blame them.

If you ever look at the attendances before the rebuilding of Parkhead, you'll realize that the attendances of the last few years are the exception, not the rule. In most seasons we got a good crowd for games against them and that was about it.

It has absolutely nothing to do with us not having our former city rival in the league... apparently!

Our attendences are around 30,000 + which is pretty much the staple amount over the years. The issues of a game midweek and being around this time of the season have affected attendences in previous seasons.

Doesnt really though, attendances started going down in 2009, 3 years before they snuffed it.

Season ticket sales were only down last year less than 1,900/1,600 than the huns last 2 seasons.

We are going back to our historical norm before the mid 90's 'pop music' football boom and McCann season ticket era. Not sure why people seem to be surprised by this.

The ticket prices are the stumbling block for me, its prices like £25 for domestic matches that out me off.

Edit just looked at the tickets for the home game against St.Mirren and most of the stadium is limited availability so im guessing the problem is season ticket holders not going?

    This.

It's only in the past few months I've considered giving my ticket up. Not because of Ronny but because the board have simply given up trying to provide a decent product on the park.

i gave my season ticket up when i was up in section 111 when all the * was happening to the group. even though they are back i'm still on a boycott of giving the board any money! the only times i've been to games this season is when a mate cant make it or theres a free ticket going like murrayfield etc.i just don't feel ready to part my money back into the club right now

its so hard though even if i wasn't refusing to pay paying 400 500 a year is too much but atleast its installments... how can anyone be asked to cough up 30 quid for a league game and then another 20 odd midweek its not that easy and is far too over priced

the attendances always drop everywhere in the uk around christmas time people shopping people getting dragged to the shops and over all not being able to afford it the epl has its problems as well if you look closely they arent exactly sell outs every week with most teams

i honestly cant figure out though as stated it seems to be the season ticket holders not turning up on occasions it used to happen all the time but not nearly as bad as it is now

i totally get we don't have tv money or finances to keep us but surely we can look elsewhere to bring money in so ticket prices can be cheaper?

lets be honest though theres free tickets for every season ticket holder at the st mirren game the clubs done stuff in the past let kids in for a quid etc i know the * ticket prices where still high though but it still didn't attract people

The quality on show does not warrent the price of a ticket.
The tickets warrent the price due to the lack of tv money.

it baffles me why we cant even get a percent of what english clubs get to improve this league lets be honest money attracts players 1 noticable player attracts another! the epl never got the way it is over night! although i don't want our league to turn anything like the epl its laughable 100s of millions get pumped into it a year and scottish clubs are lucky to see 1 million or so... what would be wrong pumping money into our game? surely it would benefit sky as they are bts whipping boys now

is it hard to ask for a good few million per club per year off of sky and it would improve and make the place more compatible and better for the game
