The on eplayer they will target is Brown.
They know he is the strength in the team and will want him sent off asap.

I hope it's like this - without them scoring of course

Broony is the last person they should target, that's his game and he thrives on it..

He will dictate this game and mix it up when he needs to, within the laws, no doubts..

He's too clever for the likes of black, take away the fact he's stronger, has more energy to keep it up and is a better player..

I'll add that I know I'm talking black and white here but that's how I see this game, even though football doesn't always work that way..

I just feel far too many people are making a big deal about Bitton and how he hasn't got enough "dig" to play in this fixture. It's a nonsense in my opinion, and just sums up the Scottish/British footballing mentality.

Maybe so but we still know in these games players that hide with tough treatment and who isn't willing to go 100% can often be passengers.

Of course, but I don't see Bitton being a passenger. The whole debate about whether Bitton should play or not has mainly been based on how much dig, or lack of it he has. What is even worse, is players who don't control their aggression in games, and end up getting sent off. Charlie Mulgrew at Ibrox for example :icon_mrgreen:

That was farcical Brown's red card. I actually blame Lennon for not taking Mulgrew off for the one I mentioned. It was so obvious he was going to see red that day.

Cha Du Ri in the same game as Wanyama as well mate. We were never going to be allowed to win the league that day though.

Don't think anyone has mentioned 'dig'?

Most people, myself included, think for a man with his frame he doesn't use it anywhere near enough. Particularly in 50/50's or going for headers. You could barely fit a * paper under him when he jumps and he has never once went full blooded into a challenge he isn't definitely going to win.

Feart is the word I'd use to describe him.

    Aye, good job mate :smiley-laughing002:

If Bitton gets sent off, I will take full responsibility here by the way :smiley-laughing002:

I've actually said to a few folk that I think we will get a red card. Honest mistake of course.

Bitton is good at getting a toe in to disposses , does it with ease and must be going unnoticed..

I think we could see a dubious red but I think they are a certainty for a blatant loss of the head tackle/lashing out..

If I was gambling on it, I would say ours would come far earlier..

It's going to be a fun few days in March after we beat Sevco.

March 12th Europa Last 16 1st Leg (after we make it through Last 32 against Inter)
March 15th League Cup final against sheep or tangerines.
    March 19th Europa last 16 2nd leg
March 21st Home league match against Dundee Utd

That is my only concern for this game. A nothing tackle or coming together, like the Brown and Lafferty one, and our player sees red, whilst theirs gets a talking to.

Thomson sent off a huns inside 20 in a big game at tynecastle a month ago, no chance he'll repeat that. So if it's one it will be us, we'd still beat them and dominate possesion, in my opinion..
Thomson got his practice in at tannadice Saturday, I predict he'll be denying us some stonewallers..

Going back and reading through, I think the general feeling for not wanting Bitton included was that he was a "shitebag", and backed out of too many tackles. For me, that equates to the opinion that he doesn't have enough dig about him. Maybe you see it differently, but that is how I view that.

I just feel that if he can play against the likes of Lasley, Hamill etc, then he can play against the likes of Nicky Law and Kyle Hutton.
