Aye they'll be kicking us up and down the park, still don't think they'll win. Bring back Robson so he can give them the Daily treatment.

    We will go Gordon
    Matthews Van Dijjk Denayer Izzy
    Brown Biton
    Commons Johanssen Stokes
    Griffiths
    (if all fit)
    They will go
    The Gambler
    Forster McGregor McCulloch Wallace
    Aird Law Hutton Smith
    Miller
    Daly
Apart from McGregor and that stain McCulloch dont see much potential in the rest to be hatchet men imo.

If you remember the Aberdeen game at Parkhead earlier this season they tried to bully and kick us but we more than matched them, think it was the first game brown was back in also and we got right stuck in so I have no worries about that.

I cant think of any one of our players that would get bullied; our back 4 can all handle themselves Brown and Bitton wont have a problem as for Stokes, Johansen and Commons/Forrest no problem there either, Guidetti or Griffiths same goes to them.

Dont think we have any worries about being bullied anyway mate. They dont have that in them. Can you imagine Fraser Aird tryin to rough up big VVD. Sayin that some of their tackles against Hearts earlier this season were criminal. Boyd Miller and Smith. Dirty *. I would say we need a strong ref but theres * all chance of that. He'll referee the occasion and not the match.

He's also prone to a rash challenge as well.

Huns won't bully us, they're sneakier than that.

I would have personally been far more comfortable with Mulgrew alongside Brown for this but as it is Bitton is the best option.

I also agree Bitton being a 6 foot 5 streak of * that doesn't like a tackle is slightly concerning but he is technically better than anything the Huns have in their midfield which will hopefully make the difference.

He's quite happy to dish out a hard tackle, just doesn't like going in for them when the other person is doing the same.

im not his biggest fan playing there, but would have liked to have seen mulgrew in the middle for this game, as he knows what its all about, saying that we should not be worrying about them, i think as long we have gordon, lustig, vvd, denayer, izzy, as the back five, the rest of the team can/maybe should pick itself, and every players should be capable, if the team is read out and they 5 are the back 5, we will have nothing to worry about.

I think some are too focused on what they perceive as our weaknesses..

Remember for a second that not only is this not the huns of old in club but also in spirit, no goughs or so in these lot. Just look at there line ups and it's full of bottlers and guys well past it..

We just need to go out and play our fast tempo play and hight tempo pressure that will force them into constant mistakes..

They genuinely have no one on the pitch or sidelines to galvanise them whereas we do and we also have quality at any time on the bench, again, they have nothing..

We will be the bullies, not the bullied..

Totally agree. This is no different to playing the likes of Kilmarnock or Motherwell etc in my opinion. From a football only point of view.

The occasion and hype will see it different but I know what you mean in terms of the quality on the pitch how they will set up defensively against us..

Nothing has changed in my mind that I genuinely feel they (not just the support) are absolutely bricking this game..

Aye, I altered my original post to say from a football point of view. Of course the atmosphere will be completely different from playing the likes of the teams I mentioned, but in terms of ability, how they will set up, and the treatment some of their mob are likely to dish out, I see it being pretty much as we see most weeks playing league games. All this about Bitton not being "tough enough" is nonsense for me. If that is the case, then he isn't tough enough to play in any fixture domestically for us.

I think we all know the ref will approach this game differently. A lot of normal bookable tackles will be let go, a lot of straight red challenges will be bookings or let off. It'll be hectic.

I think Bitton, if he keeps his cool (and I think he will) will be good for this game. He'll want to get his foot on the ball and play football amongst that. He is a bit of a coward in 50 50's but I don't think he's a player who hides.

    Good point that last bit..

I've said he can be a pansy at times but if he can deal with lasleys, hammils etc then he can more than deal with black and law..
