    Clearly no been watching Scotland lately his performance have been very good. Especially that performance away to Germany he was superb. His hold up play is excellent.

    People always say things like that but its far easier to score in the SPL than EPL, if Leigh Griffiths or Ciftci played every minute of every game for Crystal Palace this season they'd be lucky to score 5 goals as Griffiths lacks the strength and class and Ciftci lacks the pace and power to really make an impact at that level.

    Wouldnt suprise me if Steven Fletcher scored 25 goals a season for us witha bonus being he can hold the ball up well and let players play off him, plus he has height and can get on a cross.

    You only need to look at players like Kenny Miller, Steven Naismith, Jelavic or Gary Hooper - in the EPL they struggle for goals but they were all pretty good goalscorers up here, Naismith really only in his last season here and Miller only in 2nd spell at the huns but anyway Fletcher has a better scoring record than all of them in the EPL, in the 2000s Viduka is the only ex SPL player who scored at a higher rate than Fletcher in England.

    He'd be a fine signing for us. I think a trio of Griffiths, Fletcher & Cifcti to choose from gives us a bit of variety.

    25 would be 12 more than he has managed in the SPL in one season. Not saying he couldn't, but there is nothing to suggest he would hit 25 in a season, considering he has gotten nowhere near that in one season before.
