It's not even remembrance day! There's a * 2 minutes silence on the 11th, how many * silences do we need?

This * has got to stop. Asking boozed up racous football fans to stay silent for anybody is asking for trouble.

The club only started making a point of donating to the poppy fund each year after the poppy banner. It's pathetic. If there's ever a minutes silence when we're playing at home we'd just go in late.

I always respect the repentance two.minute silence.

This one. I would just avoid altogether. I don't want to break any silences but I certainly don't feel any respectful emotion towards the British Army.

Anyone not wanting to observe it should just come in to the stadium after it's done.

A lot of Celtic fans served in the British army fighting fascism in WW2 and were duped, if you like, or conscripted into fighting in WW1, think of them instead.

The black and tans were made up of WW1 vets.

Its not really about the world wars anyway, is it?

My opinion on this would be if I was attending the match, I would wait outside until kick off. I could not and would not ever observe any remembrance or honours award for a military that are guilty of many atrocities. Especially in my own country and to people I knew. I would respect any of our fans who needed to observe it in memory of their family etc. I would hope none of our fans go in early just to noise it up. You should make your stance by staying away until kick off. The club will also know the feelings of a sizeable crowd.

That's the thing though mate, it only needs a cough from a person respecting the silence and we will be all over the back pages.

Should still be respected regardless. Anything else would be disatrous for us.

This. We shouldn't be forced into this nonsense every year, if they want to remember their soldiers surely they can do it on the 11th at a remembrance event, not a football game.

I would care for my own principals and dignity above what anybody else thinks of me. So I will not be bothered whatever happens on Sunday.

It says the British Army and there's a Poppy Fund thing there. That's not the world wars, that's the current armies.

    This will not go uninterrupted.

To be honest mate, I hope it doesn't. It's not who we are and frankly I couldn't give a * what anybody in Scotland thinks about us.

Hopefully it would result in a few * being turned off supporting us, that would be a bonus.

I just hope they don't put the poppy on our hoops again.

It will be a disaster if this is respected.
