We really should have won that the second half was very slack their goal was a bit special but still we should of set out to kill it off and we didn't .

Pluses for me :

Sets up a game with Salzburg that's of great importance now so I hope our fans turn out in numbers and we make it a great night.

2 wins and 2 draws if you gave me that before a ball was kicked in this group I would be happy.

Negatives :

Mcgregor yet again looked pish

This was a good chance for Scepovic to show himself but I feel wee thumb did more in the 20+ mins he was on.

Jesus *, how a lot of you haven't topped yourselves is beyond me! Depressing * even at the best of times.

Overall that was a very good performance - any other day and we would have won by 4 or 5.
Griffiths goal should have stood, he done nothing at all. The guy jumped backwards in to him.
Hit the wood work, and their keeper made a few cracking saves.

Not one player actually failed us tonight. Maybe Griffiths on earlier could have seen a spark, or the luxury of Guidetti. But that is hindsight and shouldn't take away from a performance that was much better to what we have been used to in the earlier Euopean games, and the start of the league.

Disappointed not to take the win, but their goal was a cracking strike, which no one could do much about - that's football.

 

Some amount of * showed up here, you know there anything but hurting..

Plenty of reasons. We will be at home with a full house behind us. Stokes will be back. And Salzburg won't be desperate for points.Stop sweating. It's a slam dunk case.

No it was a good result. We usually get beat away from home in Europe.

You miss me higgie ? :icon_mrgreen:...I have had the pleasure of working in Jersey for the past 3 and a bit weeks....am letting off steam tonight.....feels like a defeat mate.

 

dissapointing result in the end but we are in a decent position overall. Good first half but tempo and everything went in the second. Too many stray passes. Johanssen had another good game. There are two players who shouldnt be in the starting 11 at the moment imo, Mulgrew and McGregor. Charlie is too slow in there i think and McGregor has been pretty poor for weeks now so id give him a break.

Griftths done well when he came on and scored a perfectly good goal i think so unlucky. He did more than Scepovic did the whole time he was on. Scepovic needs games in the league.

No need for panic, would have been great to have wrapped it up tonight, but we are in a good position.2 wins and we have won the group We should definately get through and will b a different team with Guidetti up there.

 

Even if we dont win Astra will probably beat or atleast draw with Dinamo anyway.

Id be amazed if we dont go though, either by beating Sazlnudg or atleast drawing with Dinamo or Astra atleast drawing eith dinamo

There wasn't a massive amount of unforced mistakes. The problem was that the longer the game went on the closer to our own goal we got. We pressed them on the ball less and allowed them to come onto us more. The pressing also stopped closer to goal. That William guy scored a great goal but he had far to much space and time in that area.

I thought in the first half we were pretty good at holding the ball. Just didn't create much with it, needing a set piece to get the goal.

The same team that Zagreb humped earlier in the competition? I can only see 3 points to Zagreb.

It is but on reflection of the game, it wasn't. We had the by the balls and threw it away.

Salzburg have qualified and in style. They've been much more convincing than us. It'll be a tough game.

Astra are one of the worst teams ive seen in a European group stage.

 

Should have killed that game, we played good and were dominant most of the game, very disappointed that we let them back into it.

 

Expect too much? What like expecting Ross county to pump us? Give me peace..

1 nil up and shoulda been 2/3/4 and cruising against whipping boys who WE let come back back in to it but again we can't see it out.. Yeah asking too much that..

 

We once pumped the old club 6-2 then lost the next game 5-1, just cause a * won doesnt mean they will again.
