I have never been on beta blockers, but I have taken some pharmacuticals, and in my experience these drugs are very powerful and have many side effects many of which are nasty. And they can be very addictive, and a nightmare to quit, withdrawal can last for months unlike booze and junk.

Wouldn't it be easier to stop drinking as much than killing your body?

Beta blockers are a nightmare of a drug. I've been giving them in the past and wouldn't be paid to take them now. They make you feel like *, no energy, mood severely dips and you develop a lack of interest in anything that you used to enjoy. If you take one of these as a hangover 'cure' you best be prepared for how you're going to feel 6-8 hours down the line when the tab wears off.

Valium, beta blockers and cocodamol for a hangover .....just drink less!

taking 2 valium a fry up and 8 codamol after every weekend wont kill you.doing that every day for length of time probably will.do a cold water extraction with the codamol and it wont affect your liver at all.codiene alone wont * your vital organs up.

Too much paracetamol, taking 8 or more cocodamol especially with drink still in your system could * your liver quite easily.

your liver would need to be in a right bad way in the first place for that to happen.

You can extract the codeine so you get rid of the paracetmol, its called cold water extraction and only takes 10 minutes. More refined methods can take longer. Codeine wont damage your liver even in large amounts, The paracetmol can * you up though, Thats why you do a cold water extraction to get rid of the bad stuff. Look up youtube videos, and show you simple ways to do it.:50:

Even taken 8 or 10 Co-codomal without doing a Cold Water Extraction you should be safe as long as you dont do it everyday. A have had the trippy hallucinations and * aswell after a bender thats even worse than the fear. Valium and a Codeine combo will help keep the ghosts and ghouls at bay for the ones suffering from the real trippy * also.

Had the fear a few times, tis why I now go for taste over effect.
I've been to a fair few countries with my job. No country's beer gives me a worse hangover than Sweden's. The 'house lager' stark something or other is fecking lethal lol Never had my hangover come before sleep (at a reasonable time). Th headaches I got in Sweden we like nothing I'd ever experienced before.

Norway, I didn't bother drinking. I make ok money but * paying what they're asking.

I found it hard to get drunk in the US. The beer was atleast as strong as Scotland's (not strong compared to Sweden), but still took a lot. Canada was easy enough. Nicer lager (generally am not a lager man) than their neighbour's.

    Other countries booze seems ok.

    I've totally digressed.

Anyway... when am home if I stick to heavy, whisky and when I need a bit of a fruity kick, stongbow and cranberry voddy. I can drink them all day and only suffer from tiredness th next day, maybe a wee bit shakey as well. No fear!
