Not so often now. Stories have made me very cynical of the roma types.

Don't see the old skool beggars much these days.

I seen an American news report about one with a baby on heroin. Basically so it wouldn't cry. Also seen the cripple that can walk again after they've clocked off.

Also seen, with my own eyes, some of them with smart phones. I don't begrudge anyone a phone but if you're a jakeball, buy a cheapy for £20.

It's a shame coz there's plenty of genuine jakies out there I would like to help out.

I don't give money to beggars. I doubt it makes any difference the problem is bigger than me handing over a quid or two. I have also noticed some 'beggars' who are better dressed than me. And I don't need to beg.

    Sound mate.

The 75 year old homeless man shouldn't have been dressing provocatively.

Never, all the beggars here are gypsies from romania and bulgaria, think most of it is organized by maffia and stuff, people getting used, would never support it.

    That's no rape, that's just * them. :smiley-laughing002:

I always give a couple of quid to a few regulars, although not as much as before as I'm not in the town as much these days. I still get the big issue off the woman outside the Greggs in my hometown, she is out there in all weathers and has been for about 18 months.

Depends how 'homeless' they look to me.

Heard a good few stories over the past while about the scammers just pretending so they can get their next quick fix.
