I didn't even know he had one coming out! I am glad he's chosen Roddy Doyle as a co-writer, too. I love the man's writing. Just per-ordered it.

Anyone else going to give it a read?

Definitely wouldn't say he's full of *. Prob one of the most honest footballers out there, if he would have been a yes man then he would still be at utd instead of the gormless " I like * my brothers wife " Higgs

‘Look at me, how big I am,’

He has a fair old cheek saying that against anyone else!

Defo going to buy this. The thing with Keane is, as much as people think hes arrogant, a thug etc.. No matter what he says, you know he would have no problem saying these things directly to the people involved.

Its a great shame the way his man utd career ended.. It seems like he has turned on his own team mates who he achieved so much with. At times he is overly hostile. But in a time when sport is riddled with cliches, his interviews and openness can be refreshing.

Apparently he's wrote in his book that he turned down the Celtic job because the board were absolute * and offered a ridiculous contract with loads of really restrictive clauses. Pretty much confirms what we all ready knew.

Not quite true, the extracts are readily available already.

As always with Keane it was all about him, that's what I took from it. He says right job wrong time, I hope to * the 'right time' never materialises.

I thought he didnt take it because he sensed the fans didnt want him.

    Anyway, i cant stand him.
Kind of annoyed he has the * lickers job at Villa, as i have liked them for a long time now, and enjoyed seeing PL bringing his young players through...but now that * will be looking to take the credit for any subsequent success in volume 3 no doubt!

"Villa were going nowhere...Lambo begged me for weeks to come in and sort it out.Id just finished battering some Arab sheikh for not paying me the million dollars i won off him in a poker game and thought, well, it will pass the time for a while.Lambo was in tears when i said ok....i'll fix them for ye."

He says the contract offer was non negotiable and the assistant was already picked. Did mention the restrictive clauses but he's mainly slabbering about not being wanted enough.

Speaking in his new autobiography The Second Half, the 43-year-old recalled the moment Celtic made their move in late May.

Regardless of how * a manager is I'm really worried if that's our recruitment policy that he has described.

would have shooken up celtic park and also the board. he's no Yes man, thats for sure.

would have demanded funds and a quality calibre of playera and would not have settled for 3rd rate signings.

he would have been great here.
