If they are the Norwegian Albion, then he mist be a * genius, winning the league title and all...

 

This squad is perfectly capable of walking this league. I can't put my finger on the weak links. As much as I like Ambrose, he used to be class and have a moment of complete madness every now and then... this season it's happening way too often.

Replace Ambrose, get a class playmaker in and I think we are laughing.

Gordon - Is class and has proven that.

Izzy - Might not be the best defender, but he has been brilliant this season at times. Going forward linking with Stokes or Wakaso.

Denayer - Has shown his class and his inexperience. Good partner to Van Dijk though.

Van Dijk - I don't have to say anything.

Ambrose - Need a replacement. Lustig and Matthews obviously would be in there.

Brown - The Captain and sometimes the only man who looks like he cares. First name on the team sheet.

Johansen - Could be replaced.

Wakaso - Some people were unaware of him before, But I've seen him play a lot and really like him. Should be starting every game.

Commons - Hot and cold. Obviously has the potential to be a game winner. Too quiet too often.

Stokes - Same as Commons... I'd have him replaced.

Guidetti - Must start every game. Too much class not to start.

 

If * were made of chocolate, he'd be a diabetic.

 

and a good few other's on here. but hey you keep believing that morten harket will turn this round

 

I think with the new diet regime they are all starving!

THREE PROPER MIDFIELDERS PLEASE!We would then be more solid and every team we come up agianst cannot waltze through our defence with the greatest of ease.Its groundhog day in almost every match i'm watching at the moment.Be hard to score against and then we can work on being creative up front.

Hope Guidetti caught on we were booing the sub no him.

Think some of them are forgetting to ask the ref how longs left, 85 mins breaking forward, player in acres of space left and right nah let me just chill here and wait for Ambrose, no rush just 1-0 down.

Will say though this system will be a lot more potent with Lustig/Matthews flying down the wings with Izzy. You'd think then it will be impossible to at not a least get few OG's. * me though trying to play as Barca/Bayern...Alves/Lahm... with Ambrose as the focal point. Clearly not enough quality to exploit the advantages that a 4-2-3-1 might give you. It's such a shame, we could have a brilliant 4-4-2 side.

ambrose may not be a great or even good full back but hes the only one experienced and good enough atm and lets not say ambrose it the reason were not scoring or winning games thats not the area of the team thats * us up

its the attacking centre midfielders lack of well..... anything anymore

if kris commons was being utterly honest he would know he's * up the progress of the team at this moment in time, if he himself doesnt see this he is in denial!

but it is the managers job to see these things

i think ronnie has started doubting himself or is being persuaded to play commons and stokes against his better judgement

think he may be getting led down the garden path by collins

commons was great last season as goal scorer and creative but his time is up he couldnt get a game in england anymore he is so pish
he could con his way into playing for us for a few years in the spl but is worthless in europe he has no energy pace tackling and is so easily made ineffectual

you drop commons and play brown in his place (or anyone except stokes) with johansen and kayal in midfield and wakaso and magreggor wide and gudetti or scepovic up front

do this and we will be a million times better

 

Just seen the score....how did we play?? We still playing this 4-2-3-1 mince?

 

Johansen is brutaly pish.

 

We don't appear to have any form of system of play, it appears that its always of the cuff. Players are caught out of position in most games, midfield gets over run because too many players go forward at the one time (including our two full backs - Ambrose and Izzy) and two or three midfielders.

Just look at our last three games, the only positive thing is that we somehow managed to keep Zagreb scoreless, or perhaps that's luck and a combination of many fine saves by Graig Gordon, the Motherwell & Hamilton matches were shockers.

Our manager seems to be more obsessed about diets than sound tactics for a football match, doesn't he know that donkeys will eat anything, because that's what we currently have wearing Celtic jerseys.

Its time to ring the changes from the top down, get Desmond out of Parkhead and get someone in who would invest serious money in our club. Stop buying cheap in order to sell on, lets actually build a team and have players honour their contracts or wrought in the stands.

I know the SPL is hardly a magnet for the top players, but how many clubs command a support and worldwide market like Celtic. I agree the TV cash on offer is crap compared to the EPL, but if your clubs is continually reaching the group and knockout stages of the Champions League you can afford far better players than we currently have, we shouldn't sell as soon as an EPL club offers £5 million or more.

We need a total re-think at Celtic, so lets turn up the heat on the Celtic PLC.

 

It's a disgrace we can't go into a game against Hamilton at home with two strikers who just get sent out to get in the box and get goals. * all this player in the hole, players out wide *.

It's time he played to the strengths of the team and not the weaknesses, yer Efe Ambrose, who's like a robot out on the pitch. Then two recognised central midfielders and a bunch up front who run away from the ball all afternoon.
