We needed a striker - the board brought us in two. We needed a back-up goalkeeper top replace Forster if/when he left, the board provided us with Craig Gordon.

Ambrose will not be in the starting 11 once Lustig and/or Matthews is back.

Commons has been dross for a while, sure he gets the odd goal but hes meant to create chances for our strikers ....all i see is him losing the ball over and over again.

I know, but if they were that good they would be scoring easily against ANY of the current SPFL Premiership teams, for fun.
I like Gordon and i am glad he is at Celtic but NO goalkeeper is invincible especially when the defence can't play together.
I hope Lustig and Matthews come back soon.

Meanwhile, while Matthews and Lustig don't return, we could set up a formation where somebody else would be responsible for setting up chances and crosses and Ambrose wouldn't ever need to venture into the attack, limiting the damage and leaving him less exposed to the opponents (which is how the goal happened today).

But no, regardless of the game, the situation and the players he has at disposal Deila plays always exactly the same way

Plus, that fella, Fisher, is he so bad he can never play even when Ambrose is tired?

Yes, there's every possible sense that a young lad should play over an experienced Nigerian international who plays RB in almost every game for his country.

    He should.

Fisher has been impressive when he's played. We all know Efe is * *.

To be fair, you're one of the few * speaking sense here. I disagree with your point about Ambrose, however. The guy is simply awful at right back - a ghastly sight.

I'd tend to disagree with you on Fisher.

I mean, he was alright an all, but nothing that made me think h'd be any better than (at least) 4th choice RB.

Like I say, I wouldn't trust him over an experienced player like Ambrose - no matter how desperate I am to see Lustig and Matthews back to replace him there :56::56:

    Why thank you :46:

Ambrose is decent at RB, just happens to become totally * when he moves in an attacking position :56::56:

Here is the thing , a good manager will make a good team great, even a bad team good , a bad manager will make a good one bad and a great team not so great , simple , but when you handicap yourself by allegedly picking on player fitness /diet , old managers regime who, is a legend here what can you expect , these type of statements are made off the back of great results and a feel good factor , that's when people listen to it , not after a struggling start as this is like a poor workman blaming his tools .
I'm all for giving a manager time to get things going , but only if I feel he is trying to do the right things , here I feel he is losing it big time and I want it to work , I really do , just now I feel he is 2 bad results away from being pushed , and I would also include Collins In this too as I feel he is having as much if not more influence in all of this .
Which ever way you look at it , Hamilton acciess , well done and fair play to them should not come here above us in the league and leave further ahead , this is the crux of the matter , a bad manager will make a good team bad .

    I definitely would.

What does Ambrose bring to the team? Particularly at right back, he adds nothing. No skill to beat a player, pish final ball and he's an accident waiting to happen.

You say Fisher was only 'alright', but that's better than Efe. He's a total liability.

Do you really think his performances of late are good enough?
