THIS is how you post on a rivals football clubs forum. Disappointing by the result but doesn't resort to bitterness towards another club.

Welcome to TC mate - and good luck in your other group matches :50:

4 points from a possible 6 against 2 very decent teams, not a bad start to the campaign.

they murdered us, the accuracy of passing, speed of passing, movement, everyone knew where to move to and pace

we were ok in 1st half should have had a 2nd goal quite unforgiveable that we were chasing the keeper down to put pressure for an error then got caught out because he had an error, terrible, but the players still look alien to each others play not gelled at all yet
to me it looked like we needed 3 men centrally at least to cope with having at least partial control of the game
2nd half until kayal came on they completely blew us away, it was like we were playing barcelona, we couldn't get close to them, i was watching between my fingers

goalkeeper and defence is where our teams strength are at this moment efe has a good game yay at fullback, middle to front we were terrible and hardly knew how to string a few passes together

commons can't play at this level, looked able for all of 4 minutels lol then got the ball taken off him the entire game

playing with him at this level really is like playing a man down

hey but onwards and upwards lets hope more teamwork and gelling goes on and or we get some players back

we've got a fair way to go for me

honestly it looked to me like so many of these games if we put another midfielder in and made it a central 3 we would look so much more secure

maybe if we had a more mobile attacking midfielder (other than commons) that the midfield 2 could get adequate support at times from him to make it a 3 at times

21 year old Marcelo Brozovic was the reason they had so much of the ball.

    From last nights game
    Pass Accuracy 87%
    Aerials Won 38
    Passes 105

Wasn't on after getting back last night so don't really know what the reaction to the game was like.

I think it was average at best again to be honest but we done very well to see it out, even if it meant we had to rely on some excellent stops from Gordon and some poor finishing on their part.

First half hour I really thought we would go on to dominate them and knock 3 or 4 past, especially after our well worked goal and Wakaso and Izzaguirre linking well down the lift (Tonev not so much with Ambrose).

However we kind of backed off a bit once again and the pressing game slowly eased off. The first half Brown seemed to have plenty of space in the middle to pick the ball up, turn and drive at them. In the second however it seemed as though they really stepped up their own pressing game and gave us very little room in there.

Really pleased to get a win though, it is 3 points and I don't want to moan about it too much. Moreso relieved though, as if you were to be brutally honest they deserved something from the game. Fortunately football can be unfair at times.

Still loads to improve on though especially the balance of the side and our final ball. Crossing really is woeful.

Hopefully we can pick up at least another 4 points in this Astra double header. That should in theory be enough to send us through.

Well a big 3 points in the end and on the back of a really good point in Salzburg 4 points is a great start for us from the first 2 games. Both games were pretty similar in ways I though. We started well and got a lead but in the end really had to defend for our lives for stretches of the games and ultimately had Craig Gordon to thank for getting the result. Hopefully we can gain confidence and build on these 2 games as we will need to look after the ball better for longer periods of the game in the return games. In the meantime if we can beat Astra in the next game at home then that puts us maybe in a position to quality from the group when we make the return trip to Romania.

Not so long ago, playing at home, Celtic could take on anyone in the Champions League. We're talking the Barcas, Milans and Manchester Uniteds of this world.

Nowadays, Celtic get outplayed at home in the Europa League by the likes of Dinamo Zagreb and people see this as a good performance, an improvement even.

It just goes to show not only how deep Celtic have fallen but also how quickly some people have adapted to that. When the game on Thursday was over, I was really diasappointed. The point tally from these two matches is impressive, but the performance on Thursday (I did not see the game against Salzburg) was, again, sub-par in my opinion. A few minutes of good football per game is just not good enough.

I really had high hopes when Deila took over but I'm having less and less confidence that he'll be able to do big things here. And the team, Jesus Christ, the team. Sometimes I can't believe who can pose as a Celtic player these days. It really is heartwrenching.

shut up new manager new style of play and new team it takes a bit of time and to be honest i would prefer to go through this period of not great results to get to the end product of far better football than 11 players behind the ball like lennon was doing in europe

Circumstances have changed and expectations have to change with them, mate. These things come and go and always have done. In the late 60´s and early 70´s we were one of the top 5 teams in Europe, in the 80´s we were respectable but nothing special, by the 90´s we were a joke, then we had a decade long boom which ended about 5 years ago and round and round we go.

Current circumstances are that the best players will not come to Scotland, both due to the colossal strength of the EPL and due to the lack of competition up here. And if we do manage to get a young one like Wanyama or Virgil, they leave within two years (Virgil was trying to leave already after just one!!!!!). We simply do not have the Nakamuras and JVOH´s up here anymore, let alone the Larssons, Suttons, Petrovs and Moravciks. Performances reflect that.

Don´t worry though, mate: the cycle will turn again. Meanwhile, I hope you´re enjoying how well Maribor are doing.
