Celtic vs. Dinamo Zagreb, Thurs 2nd Oct, KO 8pm (BT Sport 1).

I was in the Celtic Shop on Argyle Street in the city centre today and the shop was filled with Zagreb fans trying to steal hats and things down their jumpers. This happened with 2 different groups of Zagreb fans within the 30 minutes I was there. The guy behind the counter said that the place had been packed with Zagreb fans all morning trying to steal things and as a result groups of Zagreb fans are now banned from the Celtic store.

 

Be getting tops and stuff to wear to make sure they get in the home ends tomorrow no doubt..

 

Deila said Lustig and Matthews won't be fit for the game, but they're getting close.

Anthony Stokes, Jo Inge Berget and Leigh Griffiths are centre forward options if Scepovic fails to prove his fitness.

Looking forward to this like any European game, but anxious. We've been terrifying to watch in all Euro games this season. Can only hope Salzburg was a turning point, in the sense that we got a decent result, but we did relinquish two leads.

I've seen the highlights of the Zagreb/Astra game, and read the thread here, but that's the extent of my knowledge of Zagreb. Still, I think any aggressive team will cause us problems. We're not used to teams taking us on. Judging by some of Zagreb's players comments, they intend to do so, and they're on a bit of a high- could be end to end stuff.

 

This is exactly how a feel mate. We didn't show any ambition at all.

I thought there would be 40k+ there tomorrow, but thats not going to happen if all the upper tier is closed.

I've just this minute made a last minute decision to go tomorrow. Travelling up on the bus, taking my mate for the first time so was hoping for a decent turn out.

 

The lisbon lions will be shut as always already stated in here there was somebody looking to let go of a spare ticket for North upper there's no way the jock stein and North upper will be shut no matter how full or empty it is don't know where people are getting this info from

 

37k from bottom tier

 

all upper tiers are closed season tickets in the upper tiers have been relocated to lower tiers and even if you go to try buy a ticket just now you will see that all the upper tiers are closed

 

guess its marginal if the club would have sold enough tickets to make it worthwhile opening the upper section

 

bottom tier still has plenty seats so was good call imo packs everybody in tighter for a better atmosphere

 

Took my bro to get his ticket today n they said it's not close to a sell out as they haven't even sold the lower decks out yet the upper stand is closed

From the box office or the ticketing site, they shifted all upper tier season ticket holders downstairs, this is hardly unusual stuff they did it last season in the Cup with Aberdeen.

Considering we struggled to get 30k last time we were in this competition it's hardly surprising they've done this
