This thread was bound to happen after Sunday's game, it was an intuitive reaction to the culmination of events Deila has undergone, 1 win in seven games for a Celtic manager, is that good or bad ? If the OP hadn't started the thread somebody else would have I would imagine.

The September defence only works if the manager has a defensible record, however Deila's record is questionable and arguably indefensible, just like Mowbray's was. Have you forgotten Deila got us papped out of the Champions League twice in the one season, that has to be a record. We are five points behind in the league already, and these other SPL teams are unquestionably improving and sense our current despair, if we go out of the Cup on Wednesday, I think this forum and other Celtic forums will go into meltdown.

If Ronny gets the sack who will replace him

For all the people wanting Ronny gone give us some examples of decent mangers who would take the job

Ps this is purely hypothetical so can nobody slate or defend Ronny just about the potential replacements for people who don't want him

I have been consistent in this opinion.
Stevie Clarke is waiting in the wings to save our season and take us forward. It was madness of Peter Lawwell and the Board to pick Deila in front of Clarke, given what was at stake here.I used to think our Board was intelligent and intuitive too.

I think personally if he does get the boot, John Collins will charm his way into caretaker manager until Xmas, will turn things around a bit and get the job full-time for the January transfer window.

Loads of potential managers out there. We're not going to get some big name as Lenny walked away and Keane turned it down due to budget restrictions. Someone like Nigel Adkins would do a decent job.

No it works in that he hasn't had that much time here. The statistic isn't good but it is being made out to be worse than it actually is.

One of those games was an away draw against a team which I consider to be in a much stronger position than our own.

Our win was against the team who many think are our closest challengers and all other league games thus far have been relatively meaningless.

Anyway, I'm not saying that his time here has been a rip roaring success. He is trying to change a lot here and he needs more time.

Look at Man U and the struggles they are going through, with a lot more money, and a lot more prestigious coach. Owen Coyle would probably sort them right out but! :icon_mrgreen:

Let's pretend it was all Ronny's fault and NOTHING to do with the board not doing their side of things and NOTHING to do with some players making horrendous individual errors and also NOTHING to do with the fact our captain was injured through the qualifiers when we needed him most.

Only Charlie Sheen cares about winning more than Celtic fans.

Tbh I'd be pretty happy with Clarke would have us playing good football and would have a lot more experience even if Ronny has been a manger longer and I think most would agree with him

Give it a * rest, he's not getting sacked. This isn't England.

He's had 13 games and had £2.3 million to spend. You're all better than this. He needs time.

I think you are misjudging the mood of the Celtic support.
We won't take many more kicks in the balls and see ourselves become laughing stocks with no bragging rights. Think again.
