For me the man needs to wise up and pick his best 11 and play them for a while in all competitions to take the pressure off himself and he can learn what he has in this time, at that point he can chop and change to give players a rest.

One thing is for sure, is that if the fans act in this negative way, they will get what they are asking for sooner rather than later.

I cant believe how little time he is being given by some people.If he gets sacked tomorrow.....who is out there that can make this team any better, that we could afford?

Nonsense. Thread like this are freedom of expression, and allow good honest debate on an issue that is important to all Celtic fans, of course you will get some trolling and fishing occasionally, but by and large they stimulate open debate, and attract more followers and guests to the forum. Just look at the upsurge on members and guests while this topic has been running, it is huge.

There is nothing worse than a tired, cynical and repressive Celtic forum and format. which stifles freedom of expression and intelligent posting. Try going on KDS sometime to see what I mean.

Think BTM is a great guy,but Celtic was way too big for him anaw.

 

My personal feelings don't come into it, I want what is best for Celtic football club, and I want every Celtic manager to succeed, but life is hard, and if you can't cut the mustard at Celtic Park, then you shouldn't be in the job.Celtic football club is way too big a job for a low ranking European manager who has no real affinity or understanding of the club's history and background. Lenny was a novice too, but at least he had an affinity and attachment to the club, and he had learned the ropes under WGS before he became manager of Celtic FC. Deila has no such luxury, and we are weaned on winning Leagues and Cups, and getting to the Group Stages of the Champions League. Failure at Celtic Park is not an option. Mowbray got to March, I doubt Deila will get that long, as Mowbray had an affinity and attachment to the Club but it still didn't save him, as it is results that counts, as I am sure you will understand..

 

Wish this thread wasn't re-opened. How many games has the guy actually had? He was left with a team in decline and yes things aren't fantastic at the moment, but nor are they as bad as everyone is making out. Absolute panic stations.

Give the guy some time we aren't even through September.

 

Aye sack the * and give the new guy 15 games to rebuild the team and change the way we play then sack that * as well.......then because window is shut after 15 more * games sack him as well.
and before we know it not even the young managers will come to us and our market will be failed out of work no other * will touch them aresholes.

Celtic leanings is *, if that was the case pl woulda got Owen coyle, Jackie mac or someone in..
He's here because he's rated and fits in to our way of thinking and progressing and is young and willing enough to improve, given time..

We're not asking for 3 years without trophies, just a couple month to get a new side settled and full flowing..
Some it seems, are not willing to offer that time..
