He's 100% right in that theses players are paid a fortune and asking them to be fit at possible so they can preform the best they can isn't unreasonable

He's also earning a few grand a week to get results, so surely its not unreasonable for us to be questioning his management either.

 

Why are you mentioning John Collins ? Nobody on here is advocating for John Collins.

Steve Clarke or bringing Lenny back are doables. Steve Bruce is probably wishful thinking I'll admit, but would love him here.

We have been over this course before with previous Celtic managers ( that is the long standing members of this forum), we can read the tell tale signs, we can read the tea leaves, Deila is a dead man walking, the team has stopped playing for him.

I just read the first couple of messages on here, I keep backing Ronny and I was as excited as anyone with his new ideas and it wasn't someone like Owen Coyle.

But the guy just seems like a bit of a puppet for the board.
In my opinion Ronny is doing as he is told I'll give you a few example off the top of my head.

Ronny is on lowest wages for a Celtic manager in a long time!
Ronny is building his team around Callum McGregor because the board are downsizing and want to build on the youth.
Ronny was told John Collins was going to be assistant manager.

Ronny was planning on coming to Glasgow at the end of last season as Neil Lennon assistant then he was willing and ready to become assistant manager to Roy Keane or Henrik Larsson, the coach couldn't believe it when he became "manager"

Ronny has been dropping Kris Commons after being told by the board to force the highest earner out why else would a new manager make his first priority in dumping the guy who scored 27 goals in 34 apps from midfield in the previous season.

Ronny is given the players to work with he does not choose them and he admits this he said that he tells the board what type of player he is after and John Park goes and gets him something similiar? Can you imagine Martin O'Neill Arsene Wegner or Jock Stein or WGS putting there managerial reputation on the line with another mans signings?

I could go on with more examples but I believe Ronny is s decent coach but I don't think he is gonna be our main man.
It feels like our club is turning into one of these daft clubs with the board running the football side of it.

 

Rio Ferdinand spoke of similar in way of Moyes, he came in and banned chips and they were all fuming when Sir Alex didn't give a * about them eating chips because they were low fat chips. Moyes took these away from the canteen and although little all these things add up in turning players against a manager and making them not want to play for him and perhaps even rebel against him. Can't remember who else but another manager done similar and again players turned against him, may have been AVB at Chelsea but not sure.

 

I'm gonna ask Newcastle fans were they got the sackpardew.com banners from folk on here can make some for Ronny and display them against Hearts

I also think his treatment of the thumb is poor. The thumb loves living in Scotland. A time will come when a tribute act will want to challange us for the title and Delia will have cut loose a great striker with a point to prove. Something to consider....

 

Any Nutritionist would tell you that a balanced diet includes some fatty foods etc. in moderation, It's unreasonable to ask players to change so much about their lifestyle when you've only known them a couple of months. I agree with what Lenny came out and said about if players are happy leave them be, like you said these little things add up and morale starts to dwindle.

 

I am as * as the next fan at our results but any manager that came in after Neil was always going to have a tough job because how do u top his league record with the clean sheets n the runs in the champions league how do u do that on no budget? losing your best players? I think as much as Ronny hasn't set the world on fire there has been some positives for me a lot of the players have came out and said they are loving his ideas and hands on approach Guidetti even said himself the manager was a big reason he came here he has not exactly had luck with injuries either big players for Celtic in lustig Matthews brown have all been injured efe is been a nightmare but hes had no proper rest atall and its been pretty clear we have put out two weakened squads before and after European ties so we don't risk any more injuries.I personally think what Deila is doing with the players and squad is just taking a bit of time to click and people that have judged him and want him out in September is absolutely shocking IMO is that what we call a support? in the match thread players are * after 5 mins of playing in the hoops im starting to wonder.

It might also be worth saying that Neil Lennon never got out of Celtic because things were great we constantly lost our best players and we always got a small percentage of what was sold re-invested in the playing squad I think Lennon got out knowing he was never going to top anything he had achieved previously.

Our wage bill is more than the combined wage bill of the other 11 SPFL clubs. It is not unreasonable to demand us to win every game.
