McGeady to get a 95th minute winner and then proceed to shush the crowd.

Dunno if it will be dull but I can definitely see it being a draw. Scotland have the better players, but in recent times Eire seem to get the better of them I'm going for 1-1.

don't think that's really true (well maybe after McCarthy pulling out with an injury)

Scotland have the better keepers, although Forde has been excellent for Ireland.

Ireland have Seamus Coleman at the back, Scotland don't have to start a player as poor as Stephen Ward.

Ireland have Aiden McGeady, Scotland have Scott Brown (the kind of player Ireland miss).

Up front there's not much to separate the teams either. Naismith/Fletcher Keane/Long, although I'd say we have the slight edge there.

Keepers Scotland are better Gordon even Marshall are better than Forde.

Defenders is pretty even maybe Ireland with the likes of Coleman are a bit better.

Midfield is too close but the Scots have more depth to pick from.

Up front Scotland are better Ireland have Keane who is still good but Long and Conner Sammon and Doyle just don't cut it for me and Walters is average also.

tbh it's very close though, I just think Scotland have more depth.

Too much is made of individual players, it's about how you perform as a team

We're better than you'd expect cos we have Strachan who's a good manager and suits us well

Same could be said about MON.

Let's just wait to see what unfolds on the park, eh? I'd take a draw.

No a Scot scoring against Scotland would be pretty bad. Surely you can put the shoe on the other foot and imagine if an Irish born and brought up guy with a Dub accent who played for England because of a London granny and scored against you would make Irish fans rather * off. It doesnt help that Aidan always had a huffy wee * kind of personality. I could take a goal from McCarthy a lot better TBH as he seems a nice bloke. Aidan is just one of those people a mother couldnt even love LOL

Bit of a difference between McGeady scoring against Scotland and a Dub scoring for England against Ireland

"His decision was based on a very rich heritage of Irish culture passed down from father to son and from aunts and uncles. Aiden spent every single summer in Ireland as a child, as I did. He's very much ensconced in the Irish way of life. He had a really deep and unerring love for Ireland. That's the reason he made his decision."

Got to be honest.....i personally couldnt care less, i think he is vastly over rated! He constantly flatters to deceive and his end product is pish!(generally):fear:
We won a watch getting 10m for him!

As a gambler, i honestly think the 7/5 on offer for Scotland is good value.....and i will be sticking a few bob on it.:50:

Aye...i realise a lot of people think that too, but although i am generally pessimistic about Scotland, i think this is a must win game for them after Ireland taking those points against Germany.
If Scotland lose this, Ireland will feel invincible at home......so im going for the home win.

I think WGS has actually instilled some belief in a decent group of players.

Ordinarily i wouldnt touch it.....but i do personally think Scotland will win tomorrow.

Yea I know, I should have said that the same applies to you tbh.

My point was people looking at individual players was pointless really.

    I'm sure you would :50:

Agree with you there pal, the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts :50:

I've got to be honest, I reckon we've caught Scotland at exactly the wrong time. They seem to be hitting top form at the minute, Strachan is working wonders. Still though, I'm not pessimistic about our chances.
