Every time he gets the ball, it seems like he can't get it out from his feet. His body's always over the ball. Dead clumsy. Dare I say it, that aspect of his game reminds me of Amido Baldé. :smiley-laughing002:

I still want him as much as I did when he was rattling in goals left, right and centre.

People need to stop being brutally fickle, a hat trick on Sunday and again he will be hailed as the next Larsson. Have some perspective FFS. :52:

I want him, just not as much as I did at the start of the season. I wouldn't have him amongst the top earners.

Say £15k a week and a £1m signing on fee? That's well worth it.

Its not really being fickle whens he scored two goals in 5 months.

If he signs, then I'd be happy enough, if he doesn't, then no big deal. Earlier in the season, I was desperate for us to get him tied up on a permanent basis, but I'm not overly fussed either way now. You are right about the top earners, he hasn't done enough over the course of the season to merit being up there with our highest paid players.

Aye hes definitely going to take that 15k a week. He doesn't even deserve that much going by our wage structure.

I've seen you take this stance more than once recently - and 99.9% of the time I 100% agree with you :smiley-laughing002:

With Guidetti, it's more than that though. Form is temporary of course and it could very well be he will start banging them in again. And of course he would very well be hailed by all again.

But we should expect a modicum of etiquette from him. His behavior has been questionable at best since the goals dried up.

Griffiths faced leaving the club due to not performing, same with Bitton, but they have both knuckled down, done the right things and reaped the rewards.

When Guidetti has faced a similar situation instead we have seen petulance, frustration and self-importance.

Maybe it's because LG and NB are our players and he isn't? Or maybe it's because he can't handle not being the "poster boy." Or maybe he's just *.

Either way, I don't think it's necessarily people being fickle this time. It's due generally to Guidetti behaving like a *.

As a huge detractor of his (purely down to his behavior) then I will be happy for him if he ups his game and starts finding the net.

You see it's him that the *, not me :celt_2:

It's apparently what he wanted at Feyernood, it's the signing on fee that was the problem.

I'd be happy to give him a £1m, he's been a lot better than any of our £1m odd signings. 14 goals, 9 assists in a season the single striker spot has been rotated isn't bad.

A great goal in Europe as well... for that sort of price and a contract in place so there's no distractions, I'm confident Ronny could get the best out of him.

Yes, generally and they usually are able to command higher wages.

We would be stupid not to offer him 1m if that's the case because hes definitely worth more than that in resell value alone .

20k a week and a 2million signing on fee would cost us just over 6 million over the course of 4 seasons. Value for money. He will score goals in the CL and be sold for over 6m pleasing the hipsters no end. This will not happen though because himself has to show how much of a big bad negotiator he is.

Do you think we should start looking for his replacement in the Israeli second division or the Lithuanian top tier?

That's assuming he accepts £20k a week all in. Based on current performances, he is not worth that. I'm also forgetting about his interview with dutch tv as well.
