You said it to Bigbrute, not me.

And that's your opinion, Slaw Mourinho's assistant manager.

So moving into channels does not count towards the overall ground the player has covered?

Staff are forced into issuing bans and warnings once again due to trolling childish insults and hun accusations.

It's entirely avoidable by using the report button. Don't start crying when your comments see you being the one banned.

The fact that you think Im acting like a know it all by saying movement does not equal work rate just proves my point that you haven't got a clue :smiley-laughing002:

When did I say that :smiley-laughing002:

All I have ever said on this matter is that if Griffiths covers more ground per match than Guidetti, that doesn't mean he has better movement.

This is very basic stuff mate.

A year after I left school I was offered a coaching job at a respectable SPL side in their youth academy. I've been doing my badges since I turned 16.

And you think that a striker's movement is the same thing as a striker's work rate? Give it up mate.

It equates to their work rate. You're the one claiming because they run out wide it doesn't count towards the amount of ground they covered.

thats fair enough . to save yourself any embarassment can you please just acknowledge this one very simple fact.....

having good movement is not the same thing as having good work rate .

surely you can grasp that ??

If you're constantly moving into positions, you're racking up ground covered.

You might be a great coach I really don't know, but that's really not something I'd consider being able to brag about.

There is endless amounts of clueless * involved at the highest levels of youth and senior football in Ireland and the UK.

I'm not bragging, I'm telling him in response to him claiming I am clueless when it comes to football.

When did I ever say that :56::56::56:

    All I ever said was:

Good movement. Does not. Equate to. Good work rate.

    Understand?

no it doesnt . * * ! let ,e try one last time with an example...

striker a sprints around all game and covers more ground then anyone on the pitch . however , he mistimes all his runs and is constantly caught offside

striker b jogs about , doesnt cover as much ground but times his runs perfectly, beating the offside trap and getting through one on one a few times.

striker a has a better work rate , but striker b has better movement . they are not the same thing .

We're not speaking about good work rate bad movement/ bad work rate good movement. It was originally about whether or not movement equates to work rate.

    That's nice of him.

He'll be a keyboard director of football. Nice wee set up you've got.
