    In what way?

He turned back because he couldn't do anything else :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002: it was just fortunate that Armstrong was there, otherwise it'd have been a wasted chance.

I can't tell you that, but I definitely remember him winning at least 1 penalty at Tynecastle.

Any idea if we can see who covers most ground per match. Imagine izzy, brown n johansen be up there.
But would like to see griffiths' vs guidetti's. Then see about this movement argument.

Thought he played well first half tonight, second wasn't so good but he put himself about, linked up well, got an assist and should have had a goal.

Miles better than he has been since November.

you are genuinely criticising him for setting up a celtic goal?

He coulda struck it with his left and not turned or turned back and swivelled away to get a shot off similarly to caley thistle, but no, he turns and plays it nicely in to Armstrong's path..

I've already stated this. Denayer is our best player in that position, so it's totally different. Guidetti. Isn't.
    Who mentioned '* *' ?

The first chance was blocked away for a corner, the chance he missed for armstrongs goal was far from easy. He would have needed a good first touch and a good finish. The touch wasn't there so he never missed an easy finish.

Guidetti was out man of the match tonight in my opinion. Go onto the motm thread and you'll see most people agree he was either man of the match, man o the match behind Johansen or had a 7.5+/10 performance.

You're the one who's inclined to slate him to back up your tireless slating of him. :smiley-laughing002:

Yes. Any decent striker would have banged it in, no questions asked. He got lucky.

Is this guy beyond criticism on this board or something.

Do you honestly believe if guidetti has a decent chance of getting a shot away from point blanc he's going to pass (especially during a goal drought), he had messed up his chance then made the best of what he had by passing.

Movement does not equal work rate :smiley-laughing002:

What's your idea of work rate?

Only have access to league games, but:

John Guidetti has 6 league goals and 5 assists in 1179 minutes = 1 goal every 196 minutes.

Lee Griffiths has 3 league goals and 1 assist in 575 minutes = 1 goal every 191 minutes.

Hardly a massive difference and doesn't account for all competitions.

Worked hard, very little return, will find it hard to get a start when everyone is fit.
