Noticed the tide started to turn amongst some of the support after it was announced he wouldn't be making a decision regarding his future in January

He is a very good player

Just let them say he was immense. Whatever makes them happy.

Well. I obviously don't know. That would be why I'm asking.

Griffiths could go three games without a goal and the same people would start calling him * again.

Improved in the second half after what was a bad first half where he should have had a double, not enough to put Griffith's out of the team when he's back fit.

You keep twisting words, Jose Mourinho.

    I haven't ever said that.

He's still far from one in two. He's lower than your lowest expectation.

AJAX are pondering a summer swoop for Celtic's on-loan Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

The Dutch giants wanted to take the Swede on a season-long loan before the start of the current campaign.

However, the 22-year-old frontman, who scored three goals against the Amsterdam outfit while on loan at deadly rivals Feyenoord in January 2012, knocked them back to move on a season-long temporary transfer at the Hoops.

He's assist is being seen for what it was , a recovery from a * up where he should of scored (you know the thing strikers are supposed to do).

Well in that last post you basically said Guidetti's assist was easy and so he doesn't deserve much credit for it. You also felt he need to point out he nearly * up the chance.. Despite the fact he didn't * up the chance :smiley-laughing002:

I said let's not kid ourselves on that it was all Guidetti that created the goal.

He was in the position to create the assist by accident, and Armstrong was in the right position at the right time.

You're acting as if he was stood on the half way line and placed a pin point pass right to Armstrong's feet on the edge of the box.

Strikers have to do more than just score goals though. Guidetti was flagged wrongly for offside twice, one of which he would have almost certainly scored and another which he looked very very likely to score.

He had an assist, maybe 2 I'm not sure and worked his * off all night. I you can't see he had a good game you're clueless.

It's like the matrix, lol. Can you break it down for me mate, like starts and minutes ?
I honestly believe we are better attacking outfit with griffiths up top. And also feel he's more clinica, and will score more than guidetti.

No I'm not. I'm saying he had an assist, which he did.
You, though, feel the need to detract from that.

Was he not in a good position to receive the ball from Armstrong? Did he not display impressive strength and awareness to hold off the defender, recover from his poor first touch and pick out Armstrong?

Yeah, let's credit the Manchester City loanee that doesn't even want to be here after his loan finishes, and discredit our own player.

    Cringe ..

I think guidetti and griffiths are very different players ,guidetti would thrive with better service where as Griffiths can create something out of nothing I'm glad we have both

It would have been an almighty * up if Armstrong didn't have the positional awareness to be where he was.

Any decent striker would have buried it. He dwelt on it and nearly passed it up.
