Promising showing from Guidetti. Could have bagged himself a few more goals from what I've seen of the highlights. Finally we have a body inside the box to aim for and even when he does drop short, it's more often than not a quick touch and pass and then immediately he heads towards the box. Puts the defence on the back foot and gives them an additional worry.

I mentioned in a previous post he reminded me of Gary Hooper in certain aspects of his play. If he can reproduce anything like Hoopers goal scoring this season then it's been a worthy loan deal.

Early days yet but very promising.

Just watched the game again and I've no doubt we have an absolute gem on our hands here, I really hope we can sign him up in January.

He is so * sharp, always wanting to head towards the goal at all times.

That one where Broony hit that rasper straight at the hearts goalie, Guidetti was on the move a good two steps before anyone else to anticipate the rebound. Great predatory instincts, he will score a barrowload here.

Can't believe we don't have him for the EL. :54:

Looks decent and seems popular with the players already, so all good..

I would actually play Scepovic on Sat tho, thought his movement was good when he came on and looked to have good desire to get into the box..

And he needs to get off the mark!

    Excited about Guidetti tho.. :shamrock:

na polar opposite of Teemu Pukki who could barely raise a smile when he scored for Celtic. Scepovic is still settling in and would have scored a very well taken goal last night if it wasn't for Tonev getting in the way.

    I love his attitude

guy gives it everything every minute he's on the pitch. Hope he has a great season and we sign him up long term.

Thought the exact same thing, when he missed a chance he wanted to kick the post if that had been Pukki he would have been trying to hide.

    The guy can play.

You could level a lot at Pukki, hiding isn't one of them.

I have a feeling he will tbh and I'm sure Guidetti would understand, more so because Ronny should be fielding the team more or less that will play Zagreb in the EL and sadly that team won't include Guidetti. It also gives the impression that Ronny is giving both a fair chance as well. Wouldn't mind seeing Scepovic at all in Saturday but as it stands Guidetti is now No.1 striker imo.

That's basically because the important difference between Guidetti and Pukki is that one is a supremely confident character and the other is just a quiet guy.

If we have any sense this guy will be signed on a long term deal. Pronto.

He is well worth the investment.

Really love this guy I think he has the potential to be great for us and he has a fantastic attitude about him which is also a massive plus .. I hope our club and fans get right behind him and he enjoys his time here so much he winds up staying for the foreseeable future.
