Not at all convinced by England. I wouldn't be surprised to see that Australia had the majority of possession. Just didn't have the cleverness to break England down.

 

England are boring as * every time I watch them, they play basic football at slow pace, no class, quality or pace or any sort of style of play about them.

Australia are a terrible team as well, Scotland would probably beat them. I thought England would have won 3 or 4 nil even when taking it quite easy.

 

I think that's unfair, there's not really been much of an opportunity for Australia to play against any non-Asian side since the World Cup (where they had an exceptionally tough group) just about. And aside from a poor match against Jordan you can't really ask any more of them than what they've done.

 

I think he used to play for st Mirren when he was younger.

 

Right you are. He started to * up a fair amount after I said that, so maybe he was just having a good 60 minutes or so. England were hardly pressing, and when they were they tended to take the "run straight at the guy and let him side-step you" tactic.

 

Wilshire and LaLana would be 2 I would drop from the England Squad. Never noticed LaLana until his * advert came on at half time. Wilshire isn't fit enough, nor does he add enough to the side for me. Drinkwater would be much more of an option in the deep role, should Dier not be used. He's also more defensively aware than.

You could use England games as sleeping aids, they are boring as * every single time they go onto a park no matter who they are playing.

England aint up to much at all....this is a poor Portugal team without Ronaldo and they kinda bossing the game

 

Why are England games always so dull?

This is an ordinary team. They're OK, and could do well with a bit of luck, but surely they can't win it.
