    I hope not, I don't rate Bitton at all. I hope Rodgers signs a better player who can be more effective in that role.

    25mins in, apart from their goal and the counter attack between sterling and rashford, England haven't done much. Australia have kept the ball reasonably well, closed down well and look like they want to push forward and nip a goal. Been more impressed with Australia so far.

    Aussie keeper would worry me if he was our number 1. Does well to close down/come out but he is not at all comfortable of convincing when the ball falls to him.

    Aye quality strike from Rooney (ten fold better than rashfords), the defending was a joke to leave him open so much, and that keeping was * at best.
    Some decent players and good foot work in the Aussie squad, but you can tell they are a couple levels below the top sides.

    They've been good, obvious weak points and they've paid the price, but they have looked to keep the ball and attack whenever they can (which has been a lot).


    Milner is a very lucky boy there, anyone who remembers Larsson's leg break will know what I mean.
    Getting his studs stuck in the lace there, easily could have pulled his leg the wrong way and snapped it.
