JUst hearing gudietti name in the team with vvd brown and gordon is giving me a propper smile... That spine alone is twice as good personally than the spine of lenny with hooper ect..

1 john gudietti, sticks the ball in the netti :):):)

A lot of team line ups without commons here , not been his best this season so far but surely he will start every week in the league , he is a class act when he's playing at his best.
P.s team looks much better if only we brought these lads in earlier , would like to snap Armstrong up before teams down south do ,maybe a January signing? Good young talent

I'd have O'Connell in for Denayer personally, was well impressed with him on the weekend, he was playing the same sort of level as Denayer was but he's our player and he's bigger.

    Give the bhoy a chance.

Nope, Deila plays with 1 striker and 2 wingers so unless he has suddenly had a change of heart it will be either/or.

Also as I said earlier if you look at the players we have signed on paper it's one of the best windows in years.

Forget the fact it's mostly loans, we have the option to buy for most. A year ago if we had brought these players in we'd be ecstatic, and rightly so. Guidetti could be a real coup.

Not to mention Van Dijk staying, even if he is slightly * aff I couldn't give a *, unhappy Van Dijk is better than no Van Dijk for me.

Amazing what these two (potentially) signings have done to my mood.

If Commons shows the sort of form that forces himself into that team all the better for us. Nobody should be guaranteed a place.

I still think Wakaso will be our new hero. Loving that line up. Guys like Commons and Stokes coming off the bench...that's some pretty amazing options to have TBF!

Anyone think he might play Wakaso through the middle?

    Gordon
    Lustig Denayer Virgil Izaguirre
    Brown Wakaso Kayal
    Forrest Guidetti Tonev

O'Connell over Denayer? I get that he's our player and all but every time I've seen him play, he's looked like it's the first time he's kicked a football. From what little I've seen of each of them, Denayer's a class or two above.

I was shocked at how much better he looked than Denayer. That's got to be because Denayer was taking responsibility for their best player and leaving O'Connell with the easier mark, though. Right? I mean you don't get into Man City's development squad unless you're very special. I don't know Dundee's players, though.

Judging from the performance at Dundee there, there wasn't too much difference. O'Connell was trying to take the game by the scruff of the neck, was strong in the air and comfortable on the ball.

Denayer looks rapid and excellent at tackling on the ground, could be taught how to read a game.

Aye, I'm not sure mate. I was impressed by O'Connell anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing him next to Van Dijk, he looked like he could step up.

Denayer was hung out to dry at the weekend a bit, was like RD just went overload on FM, I still think he is a much better prospect than O'Connell.

Aye, he probably will be but O'Connell is our prospect as well.

I thought O'Connell looked dreadful in Dundee personally, as I have done every time I've seen him.

He'll never be our player, though.

Still if I think he is the better player currently then I want him played.

O'connell has looked guff anytime I seen him just going to be completely honest here.:smiley-laughing002:

Looks weak even for his age and slow as *.

    Really? Each to their own.

I think Dundee recognised he was solid as well, anything that was happening was happening down the left hand side of the pitch.

And it certainly wasn't Efe's solid presence on the right that was helping :icon_mrgreen:
