Even if we had tried to do it earlier in the day. Why leave it until the remaining few hours.

 

This has been discussed a lot in this thread before. The reason it was last minute is because City will have wanted to sell him for big bucks for the whole window. No clubs been able to afford him and it's come to the last day of the window and now City would just be happy to get him off the wage bill for 12 months until he's let away for free so have let him go out on loan.

It sucks that it had to be last minute but it's the only way we could ever have got a player like Guidetti.

 

Because man City wanted to wait to see if they could sell him.
