Their grasp of football admin is on a par with your grasp of the role of the apostrophe.

I dont see how he is actually going to get a game anyway.

Both him and Scepovic seem to be really similar, ive seen Guidetti and know him well as a player and Scepovic sounds really similar to him. Both similar heights, both players who like to stay high up the pitch, both goalscorers and both fairly average allround players like Stokes.

Deila doesn't play 2 up front and even if he did I dont think it would be they two considering they are very similar players. And who's going to get left out the £2million signing or a guy on loan? obviously the loan.

Makes me think that Guidetti was a backup option and that we never wanted both them.

We only play 1 up front anyway. Plus we also have Commons and Berget who can masquerade as forward considering we're also well covered in attacking midfield with Forrest, McGregor, Tonev, Wakaso and Boerrigter.

    McGregor
    Commons
    Berget
    Forrest
    Wakaso
    Tonev
    Boerrigter
    Scepovic
    Stokes
    Griffiths

We have 10 players for 5 positions.

This just been released on news now.
    Different SFA This Time…
Strange how a name can conjure images and thoughts of different times. The name John Guidetti has an obvious similarity with Jorge Cadete, the former Celtic star who was caught up in a registration scandal that arguably cost Celtic a semi-final tie at Hampden against Rangers (IL).

The deliberate withholding of the Portuguese players’ registration was finally admitted by the then SFA chief Jim Farry who was subsequently relived of his duties.

And now, John Guidetti is caught up in a registration mix up that needs the SFA to clarify it’s part in the process to UEFA.

That is where the similarities end though.

Celtic completed their end of the paperwork at 8pm, yes three hours before the transfer deadline. They followed the correct procedure and complied with the rules accordingly. However, Manchester City, for reasons thus far unknown waited until the very last minute to complete their end, hence the failure to complete in time.

The SFA will fight Celtic’s corner as a member club as they know they did everything at their end correctly, and are confident of helping secure the players registration.

All this happened at the same time as the club made Stefan Scepovic a £2.4m signing. Although there were outside influences that tried to disrupt the transfer, the player was more than happy to sign for the Scottish Champions.

With the 25 man squad to be named and submitted to UEFA before the 11pm deadline tonight, we can only hope that common sense prevails and the name of John Guidetti is included.

That's perfect if we are playing one up front, could still work if there's two.

However having Stokes, Griffiths, Pukki, Balde, Watt, the Fridge and even Samaras in there at one time was very bloated and the quality was diluted so so much.

I'm really delighted at shedding our deadwood up front. Feels like it might be the best part of a good window.

This is like checking your lottery ticket and having the winner numbers only to find out it was last week's draw.

I imagine there are a few club after Guidetti and Man City were holding out for one of those to pay money rather than Celtic loan him and lose him on a bosman.

Do Scottish teams benefit from how well we do in the EL? If so then the SFA need to help us for the sake of Scottish football in general.

Exactly, I can't imagine a player like Guidetti on the verge of being a free transfer not being on a large amount of teams radar.
