That is possible, because when Guidetti arrived at Parkhead last night, the Scepovic deal still looked dead in the water.

@helsinbergs he isnt in parkhead the now all our paperwork was done last night and agreements made, just the scepovic deal and sfa * up inc celtic to extent by timing issues..

I think people are blaming the wrong sides here. Seems to me the delays have come from Man City and the SFA, because they aren't up to date with all the rules regarding the extension.

 

I don't want to watch Anthony Stokes being forced out wide, shrugged off the ball and beaten in the air again and whimpering in a weak shot.

The Guidetti deal is a must!

if guidetti isn't elegible for the europa league pfff whats the point of the signing

i'll take him though but it's hardly a necessity for scottish scene

 

Thought this was the most exciting transfer we've has in the last few seasons, hope to * it goes through. Obviously the SFA are going to have to help us out but I think it was also probably partially their fault to begin with, * are the most backwards * going.

In my experience, if something is planned and it doesn't come off, it's usually not meant to happen and if you make it happen, often you wish you hadn't. So if he comes, hope the stories about lack of form after illness/injury and not being 100% fit are just stories, because whether it's £30k,£20k or £5k, I don't want my Club paying someone's wages while they get fit and healthy.

So hope they are just stories....but if they're not, don't want the deal to go through.

 

If UEFA grant us extenuating circumstances and allow Guidetti to sign, then does that allow us to register him as well under the same circumstances?

 

I heard scepovic took a pay cut from what we originally offered to make us take him

 

I take your point about Europe,but I think we do need him for domestic level as we are struggling even in the league just now,we need all the good players we've got at the moment tbh

 

Yes I think so as the deal was accepted by uefa so as long as we get him reg for Europe before the deadline tonight it should be OK I think
