    The guy flopped at Stoke, didn't even earn a start. There's no way the guy can command a big salary down there when he hasn't proved himself since the injury he sustained during his time in Holland. He may have to build a reputation up again for himself and hopefully that's with us. Would be even better though if he caught the bug and wanted to stay for years if he could capture his great form again though.

    I wouldn't. I'd be all, 'Now or I walk... * UEFA, * FIFA, Sepp Blatter is a shaved chimp and Platini has let himself go, looks like a puffer fish with bits of comedy hair stapled on him, I'm not letting them dictate my career or my club's signings, who do they think they are, regulatory bodies or something?'

    Then I'd wake up and have my Weetabix.

    If he signs then he has the footballing potential and personality to be a real cult hero here. Fans will love him. Just look at his time at Feyenoord, 1 season there and he is still held in high regard, singing songs at the end of games etc.

    I think that's why he'd like to come here, maybe sees us as a similar club to Feyenoord. Proud history and passionate support.

    Aye I thought that myself after I posted it. But then I thought how can something cost £1 if there's 100% off?

    It only works if the 100% off applies to the reduced price. Otherwise, as you said, it would be free.
