I watched Jozo many times during his time in Dinamo and I can't believe that someone (at a sound mind) would pay that much money for him.

He is good for 21 y.o., he can play really good in weaker matches, but when * hits the fan he tends to make stupid mistakes and bad decisions.

I wish him a good luck here, after all he is a first Croat to play for Celtic (apart from Pletikosa who was here for a trial and Mark Viduka, who played for Australia).

Had a bit of time to think about the striker situation and first off this would have only made sense if we kept Scepovic but are we just thinking we never got the strikers we want earlier in the window and thought lets not make a last minute decision and end up with a Pukki, Scepovic (wasnt/isnt that bad) Pukki Lassad etc and just be patient and scout properly over the next 6 months with £2-3 million to spend. P.s cant believe im trying to defend this.

Defensively our scouts seem to be on the money, VVD, Forster, Matthews, Wanyama (defensive midfielder).

In an attacking sense they leave a lot to be desired.

I'd like to think that Ciftci maybe only needs a goal or two in domestic games to give his confidence a boost.

    That's being optimistic though.

    Can't argue with this tbh.

We've also signed Gordon, who's immense; Mulgrew and Izaguirre, who've both won POTY; Denayer on loan, who was terrific; Wilson, who had a solid 2nd seaon; and Ambrose, who has had his howlers but isn't too bad a player overall and is at worst a decent squad player.

The two worst defensive signings we've made since Lennon came in were probably Cha Du Ri and Majstorovic but both were free transfers and did us a decent turn for a season.

This board will spend as little as they can possibly get away with until such time as Sevco are right up our arses or ahead of us. Then, as if by magic, the wallet will come out again.

It's classic Celtic. Always been the same. Never strengthen from a position of strength. Only strengthen when you're trailing the Huns and the fans are about to turn nasty.

If i didnt know better, id say there was a conspiracy in the boardroom to weaken Celtic by stealth.

First we get WGS, who turned out to be pretty good, but lets be honest, up until he got the job at CP, his CV was *.

Then we get an even weaker CV with NL.Obvioulsy the fans were happy with that appointment as he is one of us so to speak, but it was the cheap option.

Then, we get Ronny.Again a decent bloke, but with a CV which was made up of achievements in a weaker footballing country than Scotland!!!

Money has consistently come in, and not gone out again.

Ever since 'their' demise, we have basically down sized annually to such an extent that for them to catch us once back up, will not be a major achievement. We have made it easy for them to get within reach, when we should be out of sight!

    Yep.

We should have really went all out to make the distance between us and them as far as possible.

But we've went back the way, majorly.
