Griffiths can head the ball and has some pace (he's by no means very fast). Fair enough.

Hooper was good at holding the ball up. He was very strong for his height and his link up play was fantastic. Beautiful first touch.

His finishing inside the box, where strikers usually are, was better as well.

"Good depth for the season ahead".

More depth in a muddy puddle.

Jozo has been * signed since yesterday.

'Breaking news' just about sums this club up at the moment.

Breaking * news would have been if Fletcher and Michu both smashed down the front doors of Parkhead and demanded to be signed for £10k a week each.

    Bed time.

Btw I'm actually happy now he has signed. He better be * good though. The striker situation scares me so much.

In a worse state than the start of the window. Just can't be a good business model.

Zaluska = Bailey; decent backup keepers, of equal quality from what i've seen

Matthews > Janko; early days, but Matthews always looked almost as good as Lustig, or at least a different option. Janko may just need time, but so far is a bit behind Matthews

Denayer >>Boyata; not writing the big man off, had a tough couple of weeks is all, but it's still apparent Denayer was a top talent, one that we needed to work hard at replacing

VVD > Jozo; complete unknown quantity granted, but VVD was our best player and his replacement is second string at a team we should at least be competitive with, and has for the most part been regarded as mediocre by those that know him

Guidetti = Ciftci; Guidetti started well and tailed off, Ciftci is still to find his feet so its a hard one, but think to say they are on par is fair

Scepovic > SweetFuckAll; maybe only slightly but he is a minorly experienced player that we paid a lot of money for

McGeough < Allan; Allan is better, but in our strongest position CM.

Sweet * All < Blackett; we signed a Lb, bt not sure if he's going to play there. *...

Overall we've seriously weakened our defence, trimmed down an attacking line that's now a little on the slim side and made a small improvement to our midfield. And made a net profit of a few million which does * all for us as it just disappears into operational budgets.

Its not all doom and gloom, blah, blah, blah, I know, but its nothing to be excited about either, and isn't this an entertainment business?

We should have replaced VVD with someone with at least some experience, replaced Denayer with Jozo and Ambrose with Boyata. Also really could have done with some experience and creativity going forwards.

    Its just, blugh... pucink fish

We are so overloaded in midfield and then severely lacking in other areas, it's almost unreal.

I saw the other day we have 6 or 8, canny mind which. Whereas Porto have over 100.

We're becoming a total diddy club.

So what's th story with all these EPL players that are spare (since they are limited to 25) and need somewhere to go?

Not much hope for us if we can't attract (even on loan) a couple of players that far down their club pecking order...

English football is killing the game worldwide..

But our directors are giving them a good game too!

    Where did you hear that?

Disgraceful if true. Our entire model as a club relies on two things: an exceptional youth setup and a vast scouting network, and by the looks of things we have neither.
